No range. Spiral stairs. The bathroom is open, but around the corner from living space, has a privacy curtain. Tiny Space with a great big view! Right on the Warm Spring! Go down the hill and right in the spring, warm year round. May Not be suitable for older adults, READ on.

Guest may use of our concrete tennis court and explore miles of hiking trails that lead to the national forest. Farm is surrounded by over 2.5 miles of the Cowpasture River. There is a gravel beach right beside the bridge entering the farm where one can enjoy wading and swimming. River here is 3-4 feet deep depending on the season and stream flow.

This is a unique property that has the size and flexibility to fit a fairly large, generational family. Each room, with its own bathroom is so convenient! And the large, common, eating area; with the "Cliff View" is spectacular. This is the second time our family has stayed here, and with some in Ohio, and some in VA, we will probably be back . Plus. We have runners, and the proximity to that epic trail along the Jackson is a real draw!

Breathtaking Mountain Views Near Homestead Resort!

New place to stay6 days ago

We love our time at Vista Escote, in the heart of Hot Springs, Virginia. Nestled near the top of a mountain, you cannot beat the views and sunsets. The property was clean and came with everything we needed to get started for an easy weekend getaway: bed linens, towels, toiletries and kitchen basics. It was such a comfortable stay, it felt like coming home. And every window boasted a view that looked worthy of a painting. The hosts were super helpful and responsive to messages and offered suggestions on local things to do. We ended up going to the Warm Springs Pools (more than once), a short hike (lots of options) and various eating places, including Foodlore Fridays at Oakley Farm, the Milk House Market (great for sandwiches) and the Country Cafe (great breakfasts). There were lots of other places we wanted to explore but ran out of time! Thanks so much and we're looking forward to another visit soon.

Had an amazing time staying on the property. Davidson was very easy to communicate with prior to arriving. The property we perfectly located between the Homestead Resort and Monterey. Was able to catch a couple of rainbow trout on the fly rod. Property is beautiful. Davidson even assisted with fixing a issue with my SUV, he said the day with his help. Would definitely stay again.
