Ich empfehle die Unterkunft von Elisabeth zu 100 %. Sie ist eine tolle Gstgeberin und das Zimmer ist sehr sauber, hell und gemütlich. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig und gut gelegen, man ist in knapp 5 Minuten an der Tramhaltestelle, die Linie fährt direkt ins Zentrum von Basel. Besonders gefreut habe ich mich über das leckere Frühstück, das Elisabeth extra für mich zu sehr früher Uhrzeit zubereitet hat. Ich danke für alles. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

Michael ist ein super netter Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Er war angenehm und sehr freundlich.

René ist ein super lieber Gastgeber. Besten Dank dafür. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Wir hatten eine sehr tolle Zeit bei ihm. Er ging sogar für uns einkaufen, da wir keine Zeit mehr dafür hatten. Das Lagerfeuer am Abend war sehr gemütlich. Die Gegend ist traumhaft und sehr erholsam. Unser Aufenthalt war einfach grossartig.

Great place, immaculately clean, interesting conversation and good tips for places to visit. excellent breakfast. we struggled to find it, but I think that was us being weary travellers as it had gotten quite late and we had been in transit a long time.

Ewald und seine Frau waren total herzlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Sie waren für uns da, wenn wir eine Frage oder ein Anliegen hatten und haben sich total gut um uns gekümmert (Frühstück auf vegetarische Speisen umgestellt, Bio-Produkte und sogar extra noch einkaufen gegangen, auf Gespräche und Vorhaben von uns eingegangen – Basler Fasnacht usw.). Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und der kostenlose Besucher-Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus war perfekt. Leider mussten wir etwas abrupt abreisen, dennoch stand sogar schon alles fürs Frühstück bereit – soooo lieb! Danke viel Mol für alles! 🙏🏻🥰

Friendly, war and welcoming. We stayed for just the one night on our way from the UK to Italy to break up the drive 1/2 way. It was easy to find and the hosts were quick to respond when w needed anything. We only stayed the one night with our Dow but if you wanted to explore the area and enjoy the scenery it would be a good base to explore from. Very friendly hosts and we will stay again on future trips.

Makss jest świetnym gospodarzem. Mieszkanie jest super czyste i gustownie urządzone. Czuliśmy się jak w domu i mieliśmy świetny czas z Makssem, który jest bardzo komunikatywny z pozytywną energią. Takie powinno być właśnie Airbnb! Polecam innym odwiedzającym Basel.

Wir waren bei Michel und der Familie herzlich willkommen. Sie haben uns alles sehr gut erklärt wie man die in die Stadt kommt mit dem ÖV. Sorgar durften wir nach dem Check-out das Auto und das Gepäck dort lassen, bis wir definitiv nach Hause führen. Das war sehr nützlich für uns. Das Frühstück war wunderbar. Vielen Dank Michel Das Zimmer ist sehr schön, zweckmässig eingerichtet und man ist autonom von der Wohnug Gastfamilie. Das fanden wir sehr toll. Vielen Dank, wir werden wieder bei der Familien Wenger buchen, falls wir das nächste Mal über Nacht in Basel sind.

Staying here with my small dog was so relaxing and wonderful. The amount of places to see and things to do right outside the door made the location superb. There were a few small dog parks right across the street, as well as the tram and bus (which are free with the Basel card!). Kate is a friendly, kind, considerate host and her apartment felt like home. I hope to be back again some day!

War nun zum zweiten Mal bei Jasmin und es war wieder sehr schön! Tolle kleine und gemütliche Wohnung, wunderschöner Balkon, sauberes Bad - insgesamt alles prima! Komme gerne wieder!

Het huis ligt op een goede locatie. Zowel het station als de binnenstad zijn op loopafstand. De slaapkamer was schoon en comfortabel. Ellen is een vriendelijke en behulpzame host. Ik heb een leuke tijd gehad in Basel.

Die Unterkunft von Bruno war gut ausgestattet und blitzeblank sauber! Die Frühstücksmöglichkeit (Bruno hatte Essentials wie Toast, Käse, Butter,Joghurt etc. für uns bereitgestellt) war ein tolles Goodie, da wir super busy mit der Art Basel waren. Wir haben auch Tipps für Lunch etc. in der Stadt erhalten und die Basel Card war ein absolutes Highlight! Herzlichen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft! Wir haben uns in Basel und in Brunos Zuhause sehr wohlgefühlt, ein rundum schöner Aufenthalt!

Annischa was super friendly and kind and helps us with our bikes. She took great care of the place and the guests. The place is really nicely decorated with beautiful wood and a cool roof top terrace. It’s walkable right to the old town and train station. Just be aware that there’s a nightclub in the first floor.

Tout était parfait : acceuil de nos charmants hôtes, état impeccable, très propre, très grand lit confortable, calme, salle de bains parfaite! Le tram est au bout de la rue, et le centre-ville de Bâle à quelques arrêts de tramway. Bref, je recommande les yeux fermés.

A very nice stay at Iris’ and Michel’s beautiful upstairs room. Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room but I was allowed to have my meetings from downstairs where the connection was perfect. Thank you so much, Merci beaucoup Iris & Michel <3

Ich hatte eine sehr erholsame Zeit bei Ester. Sie ist eine sehr aufmerksame und angenehme Gastgeberin. Das Abendessen wie auch Frühstück war sehr fein, und bot eine schöne Auswahl. Das Zimmer ist schön angerichtet und bietet genug Privatsphäre wie auch Platz. Der bunte Garten mit Seidenhühner und Schildkröten ladet ein sich beim Lesen zu entspannen und verweilen.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit perfekter Lage, fußläufig zum Stadtzentrum. Das Zimmer ist wie in der Beschreibung groß, hell, ruhig und sauber, mit großem Badezimmer und ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Domenica ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, aufgeschlossen und zuvorkommend. Ich war für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise und das reichhaltige Frühstück mit süßen Hörnchen, Brot, Käse, Saft und feinem Kaffee war das Highlight vor der Weiterreise. Danke!

Heidi's place suited me very well and I preferred staying in this small town than in Basel city. The tram is very nearby and Heidi arranged a free travel pass for me. Everything was very clean and Heidi is a lovely, helpful person who was very flexible. Having breakfast included was a lovely extra. About 20 minutes walk from the house you can get out into fields and a forest which I enjoyed. A supermarket is very nearby. I didn't try the restaurants preferring to go by tram into Basel for more variety.

During booking and check in, Yolo was very responsive and friendly and her partner Daniel was home when I checked in, who was also really lovely. They offered their apartment like my own home as I could use the kitchen and bathroom as I wished. However as it is their own home, do expect that they their belongings are around and to be respectful of their space. Yolo even offered breakfast which was a delicious, home cooked Chinese breakfast which I was so happy to have after travelling for a few weeks and missing Chinese food. Thank you it was delicious!! The room was great size, had a desk and they gave me a bottled water and sweets as a welcome present. Only feedback is that they don't have WIFI in the house and rather it's using their phones as WIFI, so when no one was home there was no WIFI (but I had my own data so it was fine) The price was expensive for a room however it was Art Basel week and I booked the room a few weeks before, otherwise would recommend staying here!

Great experience overall, I could not mention a single negative point even if I wanted to. It is a beautiful building in a quite neighborhood but from walking distance to the main station, so one gets to have the peaceful sleeping associated with the easy reach of transportation. Regula is a very nice and is naturally a great host. We even had the pleasure of meeting her charming daughter that prepared breakfast for us. Thank you so much for everything, I can only strongly recommend it!
