Quiet accommodation with direct transport connections to Basel (18 minutes by tram from Basel SBB). The village center with many shopping facilities is a 3-minute walk away. Very quiet location despite being close to the city. The property is adjacent to our house, the access runs through the garden. The space is heatable by a wood-burning stove. We are a family of four, with a very trusting Cocker Spaniel as well as 3 chickens. WiFi is only usable in the garden (room walls are too thick)

The SBB train station and the old town can be easily reached in 10 minutes by tram, bicycle (can be provided if necessary) or on foot. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Shopping is available right next to the house. Restaurants nearby.

Forget your worries in our spacious and serene space. Our large guest house can accommodate up to six people in two large rooms. A large open kitchen, a cozy sitting area, two bathrooms (one with shower and one with bathtub) and a balcony are at your disposal. On request we can prepare breakfast or dinner for you. The Schartenhof is located in a small valley basin directly below the Gempenturm.
