Quirky little retreat. Everything available for your needs. Tiny bathroom, but clean. Very peaceful. Omar (son) was so responsive & helpful. Mom was so kind to send an additional blanket over when she found out that I was cold. Appreciate that. Still some renovations going on, but lovely inside. Definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed my stay again. Great option as easy to park, friendly host and nice large room with ensuite bathroom. basically the whole of the 2nd floor to yourself. I really like staying there

The place itself is fantastic for remote work—super fast internet that never lagged once during video calls, and plenty of cozy workspaces to settle into. When I needed a break, I’d wander over to the nearby park, which is stunning and full of horses. It felt like stepping into a peaceful countryside oasis. Having a Tesco just around the corner was a game-changer. Whether it was grabbing a quick snack or a full grocery haul, everything was right there (though I’d probably need a Clubcard to keep up with all those “secret” deals!). But perhaps the best part of the stay was the host. He’s an incredibly knowledgeable person, and our conversations covered everything from economics to geopolitics to life itself. I learned so much and had some truly insightful discussions that I’ll carry with me long after this trip. Highly recommend this spot to anyone needing a mix of productivity, nature, and great conversations!
