The apartment "alte Schmiede" is located in the attic of the "alte Schmiede" opposite the manor house. This apartment is only accessible via an external staircase, so it is not barrier-free. This stylish accommodation is perfect for small families or couples. It is equipped with a large kitchen and is therefore excellent for self-catering. The small town of Hessenburg is not far from the Saaler Bodden and just a stone's throw from Fischland/Darß.

The picturesque Bodden is also within walking distance and invites you to take relaxing walks by the water. In the immediate vicinity are the islands of Rügen and Hiddensee as well as the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula with its long white sandy beaches.

Wabi Sabi Cottage I in the Old School and Sauna

This apartment is located in the former old school in the village and was probably originally built for the teacher in 1815. It contains one bedroom, another sleeping chamber under the roof (only bookable in summer), a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom with shower. The sleeping chamber under the roof can only be reached via a steep staircase. The chamber can be heated via an oven, but the roof is not perfectly insulated.
