The Boat House

The Boat House is a newly remodeled studio space. It’s a unique place to stay, located on a private dead end road right on the water with beautiful views it’s 5 minutes from I 81. Perfect for Virginia Tech home sporting events. It’s also perfect for Virginia Tech and Radford University Graduations, weekend or weekly family getaway. You will have access to the dock on the property for fishing and swimming, there is available space at the dock if you have your own watercraft.

Chateau Morrisette winery and restaurant is a 20 minute drive as is Villa Appalachia Winery. The Blue Ridge Parkway is easily accessible and the Virginia Creeper Trail is in nearby Galax. There are plenty of other hiking trails around and river sports are nearby.

New River Trail Estate

This spacious home is the perfect place to base your vacation on the New River Trail! We are located on the trail at mile marker 12.5 on one of the prettiest parts of the New River Trail. From the veranda you can listen to the rapids of the New River spilling into Claytor lake. There is a boat launch less than a half mile away offering free river access. Little travelers have their own space with a play room upstairs and plenty of room to play outside.
