Cozy cabin on Tappan Lake

BarryRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We truly enjoyed this trip!! The location was perfect. The cabin was 5 minutes away from the Marina, where we had our boat. It was comfortable, private and fishing from the back yard was good. (We landed a few big catfish!) If you're coming to this lake, this is an excellent option for a rental house!

Friendly City Flats in Wheeling

ShannonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Ken's Airbnb offered a very pleasant one-night stay during our cross-country road trip. The first-floor unit is located in an 1880s building in downtown Wheeling, WV, on a steep street leading down towards the Ohio River. There is easy access to I-70 and convenient parking available next to the building. The Airbnb is within walking distance of restaurants and attractions on Main Street, including the historic Wheeling Suspension Bridge. The unit was nicely decorated and quite spacious, with a large bedroom and an extremely comfortable bed. We did not have a chance to meet Ken. However, he communicated with us before check-in and check-out and gave us very detailed instructions. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Ken's Airbnb to anyone visiting the area.

The Sunset Bungalow surpassed my expectations. It is a beautiful space in a peaceful neighborhood. It was apparent a lot of time and thought went into ensuring everything you could possibly need was there.

Its a place of peace. Nothing better than getting up in the morning, making coffee and sitting on the front porch watching the sunrise.

Bigfoot Ridge Glamping got Squatched!

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Traveling to this magical place takes you on a winding road through the scenic countryside. When I arrived, Bethany came to greet me with a friendly smile and a warm heart. She is a gracious and knowledgeable host. Their property was Bigfoot-ified and you can tell that she and her husband, Brock, put a lot of thought into every detail of this venture. The yurt was so much bigger then I imagined and it was intentionally decorated with that extra special Squatchy vibe. Bethany had the AC on, which made things very comfortable, and the bed was a dream to sleep in. At night, this place came alive with the soft glow of colorful lights, which I loved. The bathroom was spacious, clean, and had everything you need in case you forgot something. The shower had excellent pressure and plenty of hot water. The soft-sided hot tub was perfect after 7 hours of driving, and I got to watch the full moon rise over the ridge. It was a memorable, positive experience, and truly a must-stay destination!

The Petite Retreat

EmilyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I stayed overnight with my two dogs to break up a longer road trip, and glad I had my hiking boots in the car! Couldn’t control the fact that it rained a lot so it was very muddy (I was warned beforehand, and they were very accommodating with the fact that mud inside was inevitable). The rain stopped while we were there so we got to walk around the property a little. Saw multiple does and a sleeping fawn on the side of the long driveway! It would have been nice to sit outside by the creek if it wasn’t so wet/cloudy. It was our first experience camping/glamping and having everything we could need (flashlights, grills, teapot, s’mores, books, camping toilet, outdoor shower, babbling creek) made it very enjoyable! Also as a solo traveler having a little WiFi made me feel safer without cell service.

Bigfoot’s Cabin 10 mins from Salt Fork

TamiRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We did the Summer Sasquatch trail race at Salt Fork State Park and Joe’s place was only a short distance away. The cabin was peaceful, clean, and had everything we needed. Joe was very attentive to making our stay the best it could be. There was a good burger place a few miles away and a winery in Cambridge that was on a hill with a nice view and atmosphere. If we are in the area again, we would stay here again.

Luxe Historic Farmhouse | Hot Tub | King En Suite

AmiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Phenomenal! I love staying in airbnbs. This was probably the most stunning one I’ve ever stayed in. The decor, furniture, luxurious blankets, incredible pillows…. Just stunning. I have also never been to an Airbnb where so many details were thought of. The kitchen was well stocked, coffee, ice, utensils etc. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and if you forgot your toothbrush or needed a Bobby pin, no worries they had spares! The beds were very comfortable. It’s a very scenic and peaceful retreat. The hot tub was wonderful. There’s not a lot surrounding the area, but the wilds aren’t far and that has adventure waiting for you! Sandy was very proactive and responsive. It’s a perfect place to relax, drink wine and play games.
