The Cart Shed. A cosy bedroom and en-suite.

We had a great overnight stay! It was clean, peaceful and just what we needed. Liesa was incredibly welcoming and proactive with communication throughout. The location was perfect for us, especially since we were attending a wedding nearby, it made everything so convenient.

Cottage in North Yorkshire

SueRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have thoroughly enjoyed an all too brief, relaxing stay at Tarrs Yard. From entering the charming cottage, to leaving, one can't fail to be impressed by all that Lizzie and Andy have so stylishly created. The helpful, informative folder inside the cottage provides for guests' range of interests and enables visitors to capitalise on the hosts' wealth of knowledge and experience of the area. We can't wait to return and anticipate discovering more of what this area affords, whilst assured of a restful, peaceful property to daily return to. Thank you to you both for our introduction to North Yorkshire.

The Coach House @Northwood House

MariaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The coach house is a peaceful retreat set in lovely surroundings. Yet it is a short bus ride/car into York . The coach house is comfortable and clean and everything you need is there. Ulkira and hubby are friendly and responsive hosts - the tealoaf was delicious! We hope to return soon to your lovely property.

Little Lodge on the Yorkshire Wolds

CraigRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is a very clean and modern cottage. Right in the heart of some beautiful British farmland. It has a very large, secure garden that our dog enjoyed exploring. There are some footpaths within a very short distance to take your dog on a walk. Parking is plentiful and right outside the door. Gina left us some essentials and teats, including dog biscuits which was a nice touch. The TV is enormous and the broadband very fast. We took our fire stick and had no problem streaming movies. It is exactly as you see in the pictures. Within 15 minutes drive there are plenty of quaint towns and visitor attractions. Gina left some visitor information for us, we had a drive into York which really is a must. We paid £14 for 3 hours parking so I would utilise the park and ride if I was doing it again.

The Garden House in Low Catton

Perhaps the best AirB&B that we have stayed in. Lovely location, perfect for York and the Surrounding area. Great pub a few metres away. The enclosed garden was a real positive allowing us to let our dogs out at night. Would highly recommend.

York Retreat Beautiful Lodge

SophieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Louise’s lodge is absolutely beautiful and in a very peaceful location. The rooms were absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. The hot tub is a lovely addition and the fact that it is in the back garden for privacy made it even better. The location of the accommodation is fantastic, around a 30 minute drive to York city centre and also has great bus links to both York and the nearby town of Pocklington. Thank you Louise, we will definitely come back to your lovely lodge!

The Anvil, a tranquil hideaway with added bonuses

ChrisRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Julian and Karen were superb hosts! This place would be best enjoyed in the warmer months to take full advantage of the beautiful garden space and heating/cooking facilities on offer. Great little bolthole. Local pub serves superb gastro food. 8 minute walk away. There are several walks in the area. We did the "3 Pint Walk" from Sutton, to Newton and via the bank of the Derwent river to Elvington and arrive back in Sutton. 3 hours. 3 pints. If you want something different from York, go South East to Beverley. This place is good for York access, though. Pocklington looks like a good option for an alternative evening for food and drink, too.
