Bungalow vacation rentals in Barlavento Algarvio

We have just had a nice stay. This is a lovely, rustic house in a very quiet area. The host lives on site and is very nice. The accommodation is simple but good. The pool I believe is shared with the other two units but we had it to ourselves the whole time. This is not 5* accommodation but it is not priced as that either. For the price we paid I thought it was very reasonable. It is a good quiet location close to beaches.

Miguel’s place was everything we were hoping for. Super clean and cozy, with all the amenities listed. Miguel was very friendly and helpful with our arrive and during our stay. I would definitely recommend and come back in the summer days, to enjoy the beautiful pool! ps: Windy, the dog, is the cutest and super friendly!

The location right on Benagil Beach cannot be beat, especially when visiting during the off season.

Great location and view from the room. The place fully lives up to the description. We felt very welcome at Liz's place, even though we lived close to each other, she respected our privacy but was prepared if we asked for help. A place we want to go back to.

Before we arrived in Portugal Bernice was incredibly helpful in helping us sort out taxi transfer and supermarket order. She was an amazing host. The house was incredible. The pool was exactly as described and the house is located in an ideal position for the beach at one end and shops at the other she was incredibly helpful especially as we chose to not hire a car. She was always available if we needed anything highly recommend this villa for the perfect family holiday. It really is home from home with everything you’d possibly want for a very comfortable stay from hair straighteners right the way through to food blenders and anything in between. We would definitely consider a second stay.

This is the second year we stay in the same location. We couldn’t be any more happier. Felt very welcome and found everything as it should be!

House was really clean, only a 10 minute walk into the old town!

André, his family and all the employees are adorable and helpful, they do their best every day so that you do not miss anything. The towels and bed linen are very nice. Great outdoor spaces. A favorite for Portugal and this extraordinary family.

It was our second time to book this villa and we were extremely happy with all aspects. Very clean and well equipped. There is a restaurant, bar and shop on site. The restaurant and bar were closed for a number of days and the shop was only open for a short time each morning - this is out of the control of the villa owner, but it would have been better for us if they had been open more. Great location close to lots of amenities, restaurants, beaches etc.

Our first long term winter holiday as retirees. 4 weeks in January 2025. The price was good as was the accommodation which had everything we needed. Valerie and Patrick were extremely friendly and helpful. They were there if we had need of them. Valerie even brought us some delicious bread she had made. A quiet and peaceful place surrounded by orange, lemon and almond trees. It's a very pleasant 20 minute walk into Estoi which is a nice village with very friendly people, some good bars and restaurants. There are roman ruins worth visiting, and the palace and its gardens are another worthwhile place to see. We recommend . Thank you Valerie and Patrick. X̌

Fantastic stay at Sabrina's! Beautiful home, spacious and tastefully decorated rooms. Breathtaking view from the terrace, great place to relax. Sabrina is exceptionally kind and available, ready to share her best places and tips for local activities. Great location to explore the local area. Highly recommend this home where the hospitality is royal and the food is delicious. But what really makes this stay unique is Sabrina's kindness and availability. She is an outstanding host, always ready to share her knowledge of the area, her best places, and to give tips for things to do in the area. Thanks to her, I was able to discover secret places and beautiful corners that I would never have found alone. In conclusion, I can only highly recommend Sabrina's place for your stay. We absolutely loved our stay at Gloria's.... the pictures do not do justice to how beautiful the surroundings are and the cabin has all the required amenities and is very private.
