Family-friendly vacation rentals in Barbizon

We really loved our stay, and felt immediately at home - we were two families with three kids between us, aged 5, 2 and 1. The kids loved the toys and the garden was totally enclosed and safe for them to play in. We were visiting for a bouldering trip, and were able to get where we needed to go with the car - Petit Bois was 8 mins away, but nowhere was much more than 30 mins. We also loved having the local woods and park to keep the kids and a dog entertained on wetter days. Anne-Marie met us on arrival and was really welcoming, explaining what we needed to know, and responding to any questions that came up during our stay. Thank you!

Thank you, Sabrina and Serge. We had a wonderful time with our friends. There is plenty of space for children, we played tennis, had a barbecue and enjoyed the jacuzzi! A really nice country atmosphere! Sabrina and Serge are always available to answer any questions you may have :) I highly recommend them:)

Very nice apartment, well located, just a short walk from the train station with lots of small shops nearby. The property is really as shown in the photos. The spa is beautiful as well as the cinema. Great little time spent at Mike's, I would recommend it. The treadmill is really a plus too. The least positive point I found is that there is no direct access to the outside (for smokers you have to leave the accommodation).

We felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend the accommodation. It is a small, charming, old house where there is something new to discover in every corner – playful, adventurous and at the same time very cozy. Thank you for the wonderful time!

We had a great weekend at Véronique and Georges's home. Very pleasant to live in, tastefully decorated... you immediately feel perfectly good there. We were also warmly welcomed; we will be back with great pleasure.

This stay was even better than we could’ve imagined! The house is so beautiful, comfortable and charming, Rozay-en-Brie is a magical place to visit with a local butchery and bakery within 1 minute of the house, and Ingrid is a helpful and welcoming host. ❤️ We couldn’t be happier with our vacation. We travelled by car and enjoyed parking on the property, and driving to nearby Provins was easy. We chose to drop some plans to spend more time in the house, just eating local baked goods and enjoying the pool.

We had a great time, I was a little apprehensive about the fact that the accommodation was on the owners' property and frankly 10/10 the hosts were very responsive, discreet, everything was thought of as it should be, we were able to enjoy the whole garden and a small area with the minimum of overlooking was available, the pool water was very good. We'll be back. 🙂

Good stay overall at Stephane's! Very nice peaceful environment and surrounded by nature in a beautiful estate. Lots of services offered such as swimming pool, jacuzzi, badminton, foosball, barbecue etc. We had a problem with a leak from a pipe in the dishwasher, we had it repaired during the day but it prevented us from going out. The host didn't always respond to messages to let us know he was doing what was necessary, which was restrictive. The place was very clean overall but there was no duvet cover for the beds and one of the duvets was stained. Please note that the stairs are very steep. We will come back and recommend the accommodation for a stay with family or friends.

lovely little house near Roche aux sabots. we stayed there with four adults and one small kid. the garden is beautiful the house absolutely big enough, the kitchen is well equip. we loved it

Perfect apartment for a group stay. The accommodation is clean, spacious, well-appointed and you will certainly enjoy the balcony. The train station right next door and the shopping center opposite make this Airbnb a very good choice in all respects! Approved by me ✅

Beautiful house and perfect for a large group trip. We loved staying here and there was plenty of space for a group of 14 adults on a climbing holiday. Great location, walking distance from the forest and the bakery!! Thank you, we hope to return

Beautiful cottage in a top location. View of the Seine and close to a nice Italian restaurant. For was, the distance to go bouldering in Font was extremely important. Which is also a plus of this cottage! Even the two four-legged friends had a good time. There is no garden but that certainly does not bother given the location :D Enormously enjoyed and perhaps see you again!

Great stay and very friendly & responsive host.

We had a great stay at one of Sandra's small, cozy chalets tucked away in the middle of the Fontainebleau forest. The location was great, with many bouldering crags just a short distance away. It was peaceful and quiet, a perfect place to relax after a day of climbing. We also loved the shared garden space, especially the ping pong table for some fun downtime. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nature getaway with easy access to climbing.

We had a nice weekend at Florence’s place. Very cozy and comfortable. The small terrace/backyard is so nice and rare to have. Thankful she is open for dogs to stay at her place. Would recommend!

Lovely little townhouse/ apartment in typical French style. Very clean. very friendly Owner.

Comfortable house, spacious, tastefully decorated, without any vis-à-vis, very quiet, well suited for children. Large and beautiful landscaped and wooded garden. Very pleasant heated pool. For amateurs an outdoor kitchen with BBQ and pizza oven. Séverine and Jérôme, although remotely, have always been attentive, attentive to our questions, effective and very kind. Our exchanges were very warm; A friendly experience to recommend and repeat

Elodie's home is super comfortable. For those who want to be in a house, with leisure and only 30 min drive from Paris or 50 min with train/meter it is a great option. Also advised for those traveling with children in the summer.

Beautiful house with character that deserves some repairs or upgrades. Located in a large and peaceful garden, it is equipped with a swimming pool, a little small but with minimal impact on the environment? The hosts are very friendly and accommodating.

Thank you for letting us meet in your great home. The decoration, the furniture, and the atmosphere of the lighting in the evening, make the place extremely charming. Each room was spacious and comfortable, decorated in a different theme. The garden is beautiful and very well maintained, the pool is nice, not to mention the super quality tennis court and the bocce court. We had a blast. Everything was together for us to have an unforgettable moment. We're athletes, and we had everything on hand, it's just crazy. Each of us was totally satisfied. The comfort, the different spaces of conviviality, the great kitchen, the decoration as a whole, and the simplicity of the explanations you left us, make it really top top top. Thank you

We had the most amazing time at Christian’s place in Barbizon! The house is perfect: modern, charming, comfortable. It was spotless when we arrived. Christian was a great host - the recommendation of a tennis coach and the flexibility for check in and check out were particularly helpful. We hope we’ll come back soon!!

we spent the three beautiful days of the Pentecost weekend at Antoine's. The house has a lot of charm and is spacious. The enclosed garden is very pleasant on sunny days and the calm that reigns there allows you to fully enjoy the birdsong. The above-ground swimming pool (safe for the little ones) allows children and adults to cool off in joy! Thank you Antoine for the responsiveness and advice. to be repeated soon.

Very pleasant stay in this rented property for a family get together. The good weather allowed everyone to enjoy the outdoors. The tennis court and pool are a real plus for young and old. Everyone was delighted. The on-site caretakers are pleasant, available and discreet.
