Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Barbican, Greater London

It was a beautiful home and the communication from the start of the booking until the end of our trip was excellent. We had a slight difficulty with the key code box but Oliver was at hand straight away to come and resolve the issue for us. We would definitely recommend and we would be back if we were to go to an event at Emirates Stadium in the future

Laura is a very warm and kind person. If I ever go back to London, I’ll be rebooking with her. She has great recommendations, and is a wonderful when helping tourists figure out public transportation in London. Very close to the rail and great access to transit, quiet neighbourhood, and overall a great place to stay to explore London. Bed was super comfortable too!

Incredible place, an actual home shared with care and respect exactly the way this platform was originally intended for. Stunning house with amazing garden, super comfortable and fully equipped with anything one could need. Tasteful and luxurious, quiet area close to many parks and restaurants/shops. Hope to be back!

brief but wonderful stay...she has the cutest animals and checkin in was really easy...she was home but had she not been there were clear instructions on how to get in.

I stay in the apartment for 5 nights for a business trip. I always stay in this area as it is waking distance to the office. I really like this apartment and plan on staying there each time I come on business. It was very clean and practical, but most importantly I got great nights sleep (I am a very light sleeper). It was really quiet at night and the blinds hid the sunlight properly. Alex was very responsive and accommodating. I definitely recommend this accommodation if you need a base in the area.

Easily a five star stay at Levin’s place in Dalston. Levin was responsive and kind and the place was exactly as photographed. A short walk to both Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland stations with lots to explore in the neighbourhood. The unit was clean and well equipped with lots of natural sunlight. Had a lovely and comfortable stay and would recommend Levin’s place.

This has been one of my favorite Airbnb stays. Perfect location and extremely comfortable and stylish flat. Andy was a wonderful host! Both attentive and accommodating. This is a very special place. Could not recommend enough.

100% recommend this place! I spent 3 months here and felt right at home. It is a small place, best suitable for one person but could probably work out for a couple. The location is perfect, you can walk to most places and have everything you need nearby. The view from the apartment is amazing and so enjoyable. The host is extremely friendly and helpful :) A bit pricey, but you pay for the location, which is really worth it. Would definitely stay here again!

The flat was perfect for my needs for a 3 week stay. It was clean, in a safe neighborhood, and easily accessible to the rest of the city. Although a busy strip, it was great to have restaurants and coffee shops right outside the door. BART was always extremely responsive.

Communication with the host was smooth and friendly from the start, and the check-in instructions were super clear. They were also kind enough to let us in early, which we really appreciated. The flat itself? Even better than the photos. Beautifully designed, cosy, and full of personality—it felt like home from the moment we walked in. Not your average generic Airbnb; you can tell a lot of care and thought went into it. Honestly, I didn’t just want to stay again—I wanted to become their best friend and never leave. One of the best stays I’ve ever had in London.

The stay has been more than WONDERFUL. Location is very very convenient, huge supermarket nearby, airport-access train line is available in walking distance, easy to get to there with heavy luggage as well. The host (Jonathan was responsible for this time) is super friendly and always a quick response, made us feel safe and cared. When we requested for the late check out, he is super flexible especially in time wise, and we didn’t have to worry about the checkout fuss in the morning. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a local residence experience, and I will definitely come back again.

I stayed at Neo's apartment during a business trip. The apartment wasn’t designed just for Airbnb - it was actually lived in, which made it feel much more like a real home. Everything was functional and comfortable. I especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, the easy-to-use washing machine, and the spacious bathrooms. After busy days, it was nice to come back this homely apartment. Having a few supermarkets nearby was also a bonus. Neo was responsive and kind, always quick to answer any questions.

I had a wonderful stay. There were a lot of amenities, location was good and convenient and instructions + details were all very helpful during my stay. Craig was also very responsive during my time :)

If you need to be centrally located in London - then this is the place! Great little flat, with everything you need. Tarik is a super friendly and caring host - will be back.

Stayed twice in four weeks. Great neighbourhood. Good eating and drinking. Felt safe at all times. This time I used washing machine, great machine, very handy. Had everything I wanted and needed. Would recommend and also stay here again

We enjoyed 5 nights at Kari’s flat. As described by others it is very comfortable, bright and well located in a quiet building close to Southwark station and within easy walking to many restaurants, pubs and tourist areas.

I had an incredible Airbnb experience. Beautiful apartment. Everything was exactly as described and photographed in the listing. I really loved this place. The location was perfect. Everything I needed was a short walk away. My host VanZyl was always quick to respond and incredibly accommodating to any of my needs. Plus this listing is a STEAL for the location and quality. Excellent hosts, very responsive and helpful, the broad range of related information provided pre stay was comprehensive. The apartment was uncluttered, clean and spacious with all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. The parking was secure and convenient, only a short walk from the apartment building. The close proximity to local cafes, restaurants and artisan shops simplified catering for a short stay whist providing different and interesting options for every meal. Public transport links are very good, bus, train and underground. looking forward to staying there again.

This was honestly one of my favorite listings so far, and I have stayed in quite a few. The apartment was as described, very clean, and very secure. It is a quick and pleasant walk to Barbican Underground Station and easy to travel to various parts of London from there, so quite convenient. Check-in process was extremely easy as well.
