Ideal accommodation for a weekend with friends in a peaceful and very pleasant setting. Everything was perfect!

A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

We had a dream weekend with friends (5 people) in this beautiful house in absolute quiet in the middle of the vineyards and very well-equipped, very much above the average of rentals that stick to the bare essentials. Note the very good welcome from Lucy whose briefing is complete. A real favorite that we recommend.

We highly recommend the place! The apartment is stylish and furnished with a lot of love for detail, spotlessly clean and excellently equipped. The spacious outdoor area with a beautiful garden and a wonderful pool invites you to relax and offers a fantastic atmosphere. Hostess Céline is very warm and attentive – you feel welcome from the first moment.

Small quiet and peaceful village, perfect for recharging and resting. Nice house with all amenities surrounded by a beautiful garden. We were also able to enjoy a very nice indoor pool. Recommended for people who love nature.

A nice relaxing time after a long motorcycle ride. Pool, fountain, lights, nice and well arranged natural space. a much-appreciated breakfast to start the day. i recommend it.

Fab place. We loved the use of the kayaks, and the pool was great. Very comfy beds. Kitchen was very well equipped. Only a 6 mins drive to a hypermarket and very quiet roads . Tony was very helpful and friendly. We would come again. Thoroughly recommend.

No complaints, the house is clean, spacious, and well renovated. There is everything you need to stay a few nights to a few weeks (equipped kitchen, washing machine, coffee machine, tv, fiber...). The location is ideal if you want to rest in peace while having access to all amenities at 15min. Angouleme and Bordeaux are not far away either. Ludivine and Geoffrey were very welcoming and accommodating during our stay, we were in full purchase of real estate in the area, and coming from the Netherlands it allowed us to breathe a little time to do all the administrative steps required. We had our pug with it and the available space allowed it to enjoy a little of the great outdoors. Self check-in is always convenient especially when you have a lot to do, and it allows you to leave the key in the box when you leave to avoid losing it unnecessarily during the day. Bonus point, Gaia's presence <3

The house is very welcoming and well renovated, very pleasant in its layout and spaces and full of small touches that contribute to making you feel welcome. A beautiful garden in the middle of the roses on which the gaze rests when you open the shutters of the bedroom :-). The quiet of the alley is also very nice. There are many amenities in the kitchen and there is everything you need to really cook. I would highly recommend this accommodation, which is very nice.

Shabby chic, minimal, beautiful design concept. Great detail in retaining the history of the building while Including a polished concrete floor throughout with underfloor heating and incorporating iconic design objects.

Great warm hosting. Very peaceful setting in the middle of the Charente countryside. A lovely family, with the dad who showed us his wooden creations. It was a pleasure to chat with him and Anita. The house is very nice with beautiful decoration and well maintained. We would highly recommend.

Excellent welcome from Véronique and her husband, with a lot of friendliness and a very friendly presence: it feels a little "like home"! The listing is as described. It is particularly warm, furnished and tastefully decorated. The outdoor space is really nice. In short, a beautiful place where we will return with great pleasure.

Very pleasant and spacious and well-equipped accommodation. The only downside is the proximity to the road and the noise from cars. Note, no battery in the remote control of the downstairs bedroom air conditioning, broken outdoor deckchair, no air conditioning in one of the upstairs bedrooms (under the roofs), bathroom mirror switch in the downstairs bedroom too bright.

We spent over 2 months in this lovely stand-alone cottage which had everything for the perfect stay: comfortable clean rooms, large kitchen and bathroom, soothing decor, and wonderful surroundings. We enjoyed the beautiful Cognac vineyards, blossoming cherry trees, flowers everywhere and a refreshing pool. Watch the sunrise from upstairs and the moon rise from your front door (private entrance to the cottage). Thomas respects your privacy but is instantly responsive if needed. A peaceful escape in the countryside, yet only a 5-10 minute drive to nearby towns. Highly recommend it!

Wonderful stay in a very well appointed recently refurbished house. A very peaceful location but within a 5 minute drive of Cognac city centre. Beautiful walks along the river Charente. Melanie and her husband were very welcoming and helpful hosts and we would definitely consider returning in the near future.
