Welcome to our home in Verteuil! We have made this house a comfortable & cozy place to stay. The house has 3 independent bedrooms (1 with an attached bath), an additional one & a half bathroom, a downstairs salon & an upstairs tv room. The house comfortably sleeps 6 people & does have a sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped so enjoy a snack in the kitchen or a full meal in the dining room! A highlight of the house is the private dock. Have a drink on the dock and enjoy the view!

With bathing facilities on the river La Dronne lies Le Petit Garcon a charming holiday home. 1.5 hour drive to the Atlantic coast. Excellent wineyards in Pomerol and St Emilion on a 30 min drive. Hiking, golf, tennis, horse riding and cycling. 2 major bathing areas at the bicycle distance from the house. 2 minute walk to the local bakery and restaurants. Great place for somebody who has access to a car doesn't mind driving. 30 mins drive from Bordeaux and 1h30mins drive from Arcachon. If you come here during the summer make sure you take anti mosquito spray! Kitchen is very well equipped. The house has everything you need. Overall we've had good stay!

We just had a great stay at Stéphanie and Christophe's. The accommodation is spacious and very clean. We were unable to meet our hosts during this holiday season when everyone is busy with family and friends, but the exchanges we had were very courteous. In four days, we visited Meschers, Talmont, Royan and toured the Médoc. We recommend this listing, don't hesitate.

I would recommend Nadine and Philippe's place. Friendly, discreet hosts available just in case. Very bright, comfortable, clean house, dishes and linens +++ in many cabinets and closets. Very spacious bedrooms, living rooms and bathrooms. Accommodates 6 adults without any problem. The pluses: fully enclosed garden, 2 private parking spaces, covered terraces, ideal for stays with children (outdoor games). The only small downsides that I can specify is that we were all a little too hot to sleep at night (boiler temperature a little high) and in the bathroom the ring to reverse the showerheads is not very practical to use. Really nothing to write home about😁. Pied-à-terre that my friends and I keep in our address book and where we will return with great pleasure. Thanks to you Nadine and Philippe and see you next time I hope. Valerie and Olivier

I stayed at Louise & Christophe's house for a couple of weeks whilst working in the local area. it was perfect for my needs. Louise was very welcoming and keen to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. The house is very calm and peaceful and had everything I needed. I stayed in March so wasn't able to use the pool etc but would love to come and stay in the summer to take advantage of the outside space. I would definitely recommend it.

Emma’s gite was a home away from home for us! The house has a soul and positive energy. Every room is equipped with everything you might desire. You are welcomed with a delicious bottle of wine, lemonade for our kids and even some milk for our baby. Emma was helpful in sharing her recommendations of local good places and sights to see. The pool was maintained twice a day and felt super nice and refreshing due its glistening cleanliness. Enough towels, over- equipped kitchen, and basically just perfect. We came as guests to a stranger, we left as family with a new family member. Chapeau Emma! See you soon hopefully
