In town retreat close to Acadia

This cozy one bedroom retreat is ideally located for walking to downtown or a stroll into Acadia. Secluded off of a residential street and with off street parking, the house has a private courtyard for you to enjoy, a full kitchen, washer/dryer and AC/heat. The park's loop road with access to Sand Beach, Ocean Drive, Champlain mountain and a huge network of trails are just down the street while restaurants, the village green, shops, shore path and an active waterfront are a 15 min. walk away.

Skipping Stone on Frenchman's Bay Weekly Rental

Our beachfront home is good for families and pets, with open plan, private bedrooms and an enclosed deck. The beach is perfect for cookouts, walking and exploring. We are nestled down a long gravel drive with quiet neighbors. The main floor bedroom (queen bed) accesses a screened sitting area. The downstairs bedroom (walkout basement) has twin beds and futon chair (single). We are 5 miles from the village, 2.5 miles from Acadia Visitor Center, and .5 miles from an Explorer stop.

Daylily Cabin

Experience the peace and quiet of a private house less than two miles from Acadia National Park! Daylily Lane is the perfect location so close to Acadia but away from the crowds of downtown Bar Harbor. During the summer and early fall, we prefer Sunday to Sunday rentals but allow shorter stays in the late fall and spring. We also are open to longer stays such as multiple weeks, month-long or more. 3 Bedroom Home on a private road on Long Pond. Truly on the quiet side of Mt Desert Island. Screened in front porch on water side with access to the lake (~300 feet through the woods) and private use of the dock. One and a half bathrooms. Perfect spot for a quiet staycation on Mt Desert Island. Listen to the loons on the lake in the evening, the wind rustling through leaves. Secluded wooded location. Only three houses on this ten acre family parcel.

Hulls Cove Hideaway.

Located about a 1/4 from groomed X-country ski trails. Thank you for considering the Hideaway for you stay. The house is well equipped for your comfort. Located near the Hulls Cove park entrance and beach. The calendar does reflect availability, please believe the calendar, if it won't let you book the dates you are looking for that does mean it is not available. We are dog friendly, however we do not accept cats for allergic reasons.

Pretty Marsh Cottage

This beautiful, light-filled cottage on waterfront property on the western side of Mount Desert Island has picturesque views of the Mount Desert Narrows and access to a private pebble beach. The house is on very secluded wooded property for a nice private getaway. All you will hear are the sounds of birds and waves lapping up on the beach. Just a short drive to all that Acadia National Park has to offer!
