Vacation rentals with a patio in Banikhet

This place was wonderful. It was my first stop in India so the perfect place to settle in. It’s a short walk from McLeod Ganj and is surrounded by great amenities including a couple of great restaurants, a shop and a gym. The area is a great mix of Tibetan/Buddhist and Indian cultures. It’s wonderful! The view from the balcony is spectacular and the kitchen is well equipped for self catering. I was remote working so the work desk was ideal but trying to work without getting mesmerised by the view was hard 😂 The team couldn’t have done more for me including getting an Indian SIM card. Thanks guys. I’ll be returning and I can’t wait.

I recently stayed at a lovely homestay in Dalhousie, and it was an absolute delight. The location was peaceful, with stunning views all around, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was exceptional – a great communicator and incredibly hospitable, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Dalhousie

The apartment looked exactly the same as in photos, everything was right clean bathrooms, comfortable rooms, choice of books and board games for timepass and on the top of everything you could hear the river flowing nearby which is soothing at night. Host Surbhi is also a very nice person you don't feel like you are meeting her for the first time, she is very helpful. I recommend this place who wants to visit Dharamshala

This apartment hosted by Sonam and Tseten was indeed a Haven. We booked this property for our first day at Dharamshala, it's located outside the main city in a quiet corner near Norbulingka Institute, Sidhpur. When we were on our way, we were tired and honestly had no expectations but Tseten gave us a warm welcome and privacy. The property is not exactly as shown in the pictures but much better. Sonam and Tseten, have achieved providing a home to the people visiting away from their own. They have taken care of literally any and everything a person travelling might need during their stay. 1. The apartment had a well functioning WiFi, refrigerator, iron and television. 2. The cleanliness was spot on. 3. To provide privacy to guests they had created a sort of partition and covers in the balcony, which is a very aesthetically pleasing part to enjoy tea. 4. A Wonderful Stay! I had an amazing experience staying at Raghuvansh’s place. The property was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The indoor games, wifi and spacious rooms really stood out and made my stay extra comfortable. The location was perfect, very close to Banikhet Bazar where we can buy all our daily needs, the beautiful view from the terrace and relief from the crowd was plus point with a quiet neighbourhood. Raghuvansh was incredibly welcoming and responsive, always available to answer any questions and ensure I had a smooth stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway.

We had awesome 2 night's stay at Sonali's place - Studio Indique. It's a very spacious studio apartment for 3 people and a huge bathroom. Nice little kitchen in the corner of the apartment to cook or heat. Spacious dining and living space, albeit it's studio apartment. It also has high-speed Internet and nice garden outside to chill out. No TV in the apartment to spend good family time, and we were very happy about it. There are grocery stores and cafes just outside the home stay. So, you can cook your essentials or try culinary skills. Sonali also suggested us few good restaurants around Dharamshala - Sakura (Japanese) and Mcloed Ganj - Hot Yak (Chinese and Tibetan), where we had lip smacking foods. I also celebrated my Wife's birthday at Sonali's place with a delicious cake from nearby cake shop and red wine to make it special. Also, my daughter had medical emergency at the midnight, and Sonali helped us with the hospital details and guided us until she recovered. Thaks Sonali :-)

We loved our stay in Karuna retreat for 5 days. The place has warm and cozy vibes. The kids loved the media room in the attic. It was a different experience for them. Since we were traveling by our own vehicle, we enjoyed the best of both worlds, the calm and peaceful neighbourhood of Rakkad and the hustle and bustle of Mcleod ganj. Traveling to the Main Square of Mcleodganj took 30 mins. Karuna Retreat is very close to Norbulingka Institute which was a great place to sit and just enjoy some peaceful moments. Star and constellations gazing was our favourite thing to do on the terrace of our beautiful homestay. There were nice home run cafes nearby. A grocery shop was just round the corner. We loved the location. Our host Tenzin was an easy and proactive person to talk to, though we never needed anything as everything was just fine. We loved the collection of books there too. We really hope to come back soon and stay for a longer period of time.

We had such a wonderful stay at this dreamy Airbnb! The space was beautifully decorated — just like something you’d find scrolling through Pinterest — cozy, stylish, and full of thoughtful touches. It instantly made us feel at home. The peaceful surroundings and tea garden sights made the experience even more special. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying slow peaceful mornings was exactly what we needed to recharge. A huge thanks to akshita for being an amazing host and her parents who went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. Their warmth and hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. A very nice and spacious place to stay. Exactly as is mentioned in the photos and description. The staff is also very courteous and took very good care of us. Would love to come back again here if I visit Dalhousie. A definite place to stay if looking to come to Dalhousie

This is a spacious, sunlit apartment with 2 nice rooms, good beds, a functional kitchen and bathroom. There is no shower; bucket method only. Namita is a responsive hostess, nice as can be. She responds quickly and handles whatever needed. Plus, she is the best chef in Himachal Pradesh. The location is decent, a grocery store across the street and walking distance to other basics. Kotvali Bazaar and McLeodgage are accessible. I will stay here again when I return to Dharamshala.

The place is absolutely serene and aesthetically pleasing from every corner. The caretaker, Babli is friendly and helpful. I genuinely had the BEST time.
