Spacious and newly refurbished 4 bedroom in Erris

MaggieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Fab stay at Patrick's house in Bangor Erris, there were 6 of staying and there was more than enough room. 3 Showers and 2 kitchens! The house is on the main street of a small town but has a Centra supermarket that serves hot food and salad bar which was perfect for our stay as we were on a family reunion trip so just needed coffee and breakfast and snacks. 2 very hospitable and welcoming pubs in Bangor, and very family friendly. The surrounding area is just out of this world, Westport and Croagh Patrick 50mins drive away, amazing beaches 20mins away and Ballina and Castlebar, 2 big towns where you can shop and eat and spend the day. We will definitely be back as this is a great base to explore the North West coast. Thank you for a great stay!

Achill Atlantic House

RichardRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We (four of us) stayed for week in Kevin’s amazing house. The location is jaw-droppingly beautiful and the house is perfect and makes the most of the stellar views. It helps to have the beach literally at the end of the garden of course, and this all added to an idyllic week on Achill, even when the weather didn’t oblige. Kevin was fantastic at supplying local information and his passion for the place is apparent and infectious! This has to be one of the best properties I have ever stayed in on Airbnb. Can’t recommend highly enough.

'Inish Rua' Island view on the Atlantic Shore

MarkRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at the beautiful Inish Rua property from Thursday to Sunday, and it was a truly memorable experience. Located in the village of Askill on Achill Island, the property offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that made for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The house is situated right beside the owner’s home, which meant help was readily available if needed—but we found everything so well set up, we barely had to ask for anything. Our host gave us the warmest welcome and even surprised us with some lovely complimentary gifts, which was such a thoughtful touch. The house itself is modern, clean, fresh, and incredibly comfortable. From the breathtaking scenery to the charming donkeys and flocks of sheep nearby, every detail added to the serene charm of the place. The added bonus of a pool table and a football pitch made it ideal for both relaxing and having fun. We had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we’re already looking forward to

Luxury self catering house.

The Coastguard’s House is in a beautiful location, quiet and amazing views. Lawrence, Myra and Lawrence Sr couldn’t be mire helpful or friendly. Their hospitality is faultless. The house is super comfortable and clean and very spacious. Seeing the seals and cormorants gave an extra special feel to the holiday. We loved it and had a fantastic week.

Cosy and Remote Hideaway (newly renovated)

DeniseRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Marina’s place is located perfectly - it is peaceful and quiet but at the same time just a step away from amazing beaches and hiking spots. The cottage was lovely and felt like a home away from home. Marina was a great host who proactively provided us with valuable information about the area and was always polite in her responses. Would go back any time.

Four bedroom house on the wild Atlantic way

JeniferRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is a remote location. We were glad we had brought most of the food we intended to eat along with us. That said the kitchen is very well equipped and the essentials provided by Tony were very good. The beds were comfortable, lots of towels provided, good furnishings. The internet was a touch weak. The views from the house are wonderful, our dogs enjoyed walking in the fields below the house (hope that was ok!). We did some great birdwatching from the property. I had the impression that the beach was walking distance from the house...it isn't really but it is a very short hop in the car and it is very beautiful. Long sandy beach, dunes, rocks forming wading pools. We were there in mid spring v high summer but the beach was perfectly clean and almost entirely empty. I would love to stay at tony's again.
