Vacation rentals with a kayak in Bancroft

We came here as a group of 8 women to celebrate my friend's Bachelorette. It was the perfect setting for a fun and relaxing time. we loved hanging at the little beach, listening to music, using the paddle boat, kayaks and paddle boards. The hot tub was great. There was more than a generous amount of fire wood for campfires. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The host was very responsive and kind. Overall 5 stars, would recommend and would definitely come back! Thank you for hosting us Nuchanart!

We had an amazing stay at Kings Wee Castle. The cottage was even better than described-clean, stylish, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to downtown but quiet at night, just a short walk to the beach. Eric was a fantastic host-responsive, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, like Champagne on arrival. We'd love to stay here again and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kings Wee Castle. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Tracey and Rodneys place is an absolute gem of a find in the Campbellford area! The space is incredibly designed, with the river at the bottom of the backyard. We could have spent hours in the gallery room or the library, and the open window on the top level with a couch overlooking the river would be a perfect spot to take one of their books and read the day away on a cooler day! absolutely fantastic hosts who we'll no doubt reach out to when we're in the area again! thank you both!!

We were so happy to stay at this cottage! The house was cozy and welcoming, and both our child and our dog had an amazing time. It was the perfect place for a fun and relaxing family getaway. We would love to come back again!

We had a lovely stay at this cozy cottage right across the lake. The space was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the basic necessities. Kees was very responsive whenever we had questions, and we even got a chance to meet him while we were leaving. He is such a kind and welcoming person. The peaceful location and beautiful view made it a perfect getaway. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing stay!! We were blown away by just how beautiful and thoughtful the cottage amenities were. The decor is like a luxury hotel - everything is brand new and perfect. We appreciated all the different outdoor spaces and made use of the dock, the deck, the fire pit and the hot tub. Despite the terrible weather, we still had lots to do and felt like a dream getaway. Can't wait to go back again!

Kelly's place was absolutely gorgeous. A cozy cottage in the lap of nature; you're surrounded by natural beauty. Lush green fields, a gushing river and plenty of activities, it's the perfect place to unwind, relax and have a great time. Listening to the sound of the river was absolutely the highlight of our trip and the weather was just perfect for a quick swim. Would definitely go back! Beautiful and easy to reach location and Kelly was super helpful throughout our stay.

Thank you Tony for hosting us at your cottage. The place is beautiful and has that cottage feel from the moment you walk in. Perfect size too. The location is out of a post card. Loved the river at the back of the property. Tony is a great host. He contacted us before checking in and offered us to check in and out anytime we wanted to, muck earlier check in and much later check out. We didn't need to but was great knowing we had that option. We loved our stay and looking forward to coming back in the near future.

This was absolutely one of our favourite spots we’ve ever stayed at - it’s a little slice of heaven in PEC! The moment you step into the door and see the beautiful natural light and view of the water, you truly feel right at home. The area is lovely and shops and restaurants in Picton are about a 10-minute drive away. Christine is a fabulous and thoughtful host (we were so pleased to have a welcome basket waiting for us!), and has curated an all-around beautiful and special experience for her guests. From the comfortable beds, to the views of the water sitting on the deck to the perfectly relaxing and spacious surroundings - we can’t wait to go back again, we highly recommend it!

Wait.. there is no option for 6 stars!?! Wow, where to begin!?! From check-in to check-out, our group had a fantastic time. Our host was super friendly and easy to connect with at all times. Our group had 8; 6 adults, a teen & a child. Everyone was entertained at all times from the karaoke machine, the games, the hot tub, the firepit, the kayaks & canoes, the swimming, and the stairway to haven, which was truly breathtaking taking!!! The town of Halliburton was a short 10 minutes away where we enjoyed some shopping, lunch & coffee. We were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary; 78 & 73 years young and they rocked that staircase several times! We frequent Air B N Bs often and this is by far my new favourite. There is already talk of a return visit in the future. Highland Bliss is gourgeous, loaded with all the amenities, is spotless, super comfortable and my family is so thankful to Marcia for allowing us to visit her beautiful space and create lasting memories!

I have stayed at over 130 AirBnBs, likely 40 of them cottages, and this may be my favourite. The effort and care put into making this property the ultimate lake experience is overwhelming. We didn't even have the chance to sit at every beautiful spot - there just weren't enough days! The beach - the dock - the lake fire pit - the hill fire pit - the deck fireplace - the gazebo with the full table and chairs - the perfect dining table overlooking the whole lake... And that's just outside. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the soaker tub sublime, and the main living room as cozy a spot as we've ever been. Our original AirBnB was not as advertised, and Tomek made his place available at 6 pm on a Friday night for the weekend. He didn't just save our weekend -- he made it better. I can't say enough good things. Book this spot. If you're looking for a cottage weekend relaxing outside, it might be the best I've ever seen. Thank you Tomek.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was communicative and made check-in super easy. The neighbourhood was quiet, and we felt right at home during our visit. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Incredible property, secluded and private. Stunning views of the lake and the sun sets are incredible from the dock. Kayaks included were awesome fun and the local area had everything you needed (+friendly people!) Cassidy was quick to respond to questions and clear with instructions prior to our arrival. Book this cabin!!

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

We loved our stay here! The house was spotless and had everything we could’ve needed and more. The dock and watercrafts were our favourite daytime spot, and the dining table was perfect for groups games in the evenings. We didn’t get to use the fire pits but there were two of them! We’ll definitely be back!

A couple of things that stood out for us was the abundance of towel racks and hooks in the bathroom as well as dimmers on all of the overhead lights (such a relief from glare!). We would stay here again.

Had an amazing weekend at The Boathouse! The views were amazing and The Boathouse was so cute and homey! My boyfriend and I spent an entire day on the late in a canoe and absolutely loved it. Cindy was very helpful and proactive, even allowing us to checkout a little later! We will definitely be back!

I highly recommend the Lake House in Dorset/Raven Shores. This cottage was perfectly situated and close to scenic attractions and many trails. The property was picturesque morning, noon, and night. The perfect spot with easy access to the lake. Their customer service and attention to detail is second to none, exceeding my expectations every time. The hosts were readily available and responded quickly. The cottage was warm and Cozy "just like home." It was equipped with everything a family would need and more. We would stay again.

This was the perfect gateway spot for my partner and I plus our two small dogs. The cabin itself is basic with a comfy mattress, a mini fridge, lamp, table and heater/fan. The campsite is big and right on the beautiful lake. Bathroom facilities were a stones throw away and always clean. We made use of the shared barbecue. It was a chilly weekend so we didn’t get to take advantage of the beach or boats but it is great to have them on site!

The cottage was amazing. the shore to go into the water is so clean and sandy making it easy to swim or launch kayaks. we had a great time. The walk around the cottage was also pretty. On a clear night we were able to see the stars which was the best thing. the amenities and rooms were super comfortable as well. definitely coming back to this. one thing to note would be the timings to dispose the garbage and recycling and Co ordinate it accordingly with your check out time.

This is a very cozy space. If you are looking to get away in the Kawarthas I really recommend it. Its very clean, organized, right on the water great for a family of 5-6. I would love to come back and stay even longer, a weekend was too short. No complaints.
