In the cottage, you live a basic life, close to nature in a beautiful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly planted food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

The log cabin in which you are staying has just been built and has a beautiful kitchen, 2 separate bedrooms, a nicely furnished bathroom, has central heating, an extension shed (which can be used e.g. for charging electric bicycles or as storage space) and a beautiful garden where you can sit on the terrace or under the awning. .

Unwind in a beautiful setting with plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, and other outdoor sports. In addition to the beautiful nature, there is a lot of history to see (hunebed within walking distance) and there are the necessary restaurants nearby. The stay is a 10-minute drive from Assen and features a private entrance, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and nice outdoor terrace. Stay for 1-4 people and doesn't include breakfast. Our small chalet lies in the middle of the most beautifull nature of the Netherlands: the National Park of the Drentsche Aa and the Unesco Geopark of the Hondsrug, on a very quiet camping. It is furnished light and harmonious. The house is suitable for couples and singles, not for children. Overnight stay with 2 persons maximum. No pets. Non smoking (except on the terrace).
