Die Unterkunft ist ein Schmuckstück. Es liegt genau zwischen Sligo und Ballina und man benötigt jeweils ca 30 Fahrminuten. Die Lage am Meer ist perfekt um den Alltag zu entfliehen.Der direkte Privatweg führt euch innerhalb von 2 Minuten an einen menschenleeren Sandstrand. Das selbstgebackene Brot ist übrigens ebenfalls zu empfehlen und sorgt für ein familiäres ankommen. Die Extrakosten für Öl und Strom sind absolut im Rahmen und sprengen nicht die Urlaubskasse. Ich empfehle es auf alle Fälle weiter und würde selbst wiederkommen,da es für die Ausflüge und Wanderungen in der Gegend eine perfekte Lage war. Persönlich kann ich zudem die Stadt Sligo empfehlen,da diese noch nicht so überlaufen und gehypd ist wie Galway. ich sage DANKE und wünsche alles Gute! Margaret ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin

James was a lovely host! We arrived pretty late, and he had a fire going for us in the hearth, making the guest house super cozy. Would definitely recommend ☺️

Stayed over Easter. House was immaculate. It was like being at home. Everything we needed was provided. Hilary was very helpful and lovely to talk to.

We were down for a family celebration at the Slieve Russell and stayed at Francis' house. The house is really lovely. it is extremely clean and well kept and very comfortable. They have thought of everything. I would definitely stay again.

2nd time visiting Beech Lodge, always exceeds expectations. Great stay, John and Rose are very good hosts. Such a peaceful location, very relaxing and very convenient to Carrick on Shannon and Jamestown. Very clean house and great facilities. Nice touch with milk and breakfast items provided also. Would highly recommend to stay here.

Stephen was an excellent host. His house was spotless. Clear instructions for the kitchen, bathroom, tv and even left sausages, bacon , and eggs in the fridge for breakfast. Highly recommend this host.

Katie Ann’s Cottage was the perfect holiday home for our family of five. Nestled in the most beautiful and peaceful location, it offered easy access to Enniscrone Beach, Belleek Woods, Benbulben, Knocknarea, and the stunning nearby Drumore Beach — just five minutes away. The cottage itself was cosy, charming, and felt like a home away from home. We spent so many lovely evenings playing cards by the fire and enjoying quality time together. Despite it raining for most of our stay, we made the most of it with our rain gear and created unforgettable memories. There are so many fantastic places to eat nearby, and everything was excellent value. Tracey was a wonderful host — warm, responsive, and full of great local recommendations. We will absolutely be booking Katie Ann’s Cottage again. It’s the ideal base for exploring all the incredible attractions and hikes that Sligo has to offer.
