What a beautiful stay we had in Amed! I came here with my husband and our two daughter (7 and 4 years old). From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were welcomed into a real Balinese family—not just staying in a place, but living in it. Our girls instantly bonded with Made and Arya, Ketut’s wonderful children, and also their French friends Tom and Inez. Every day was a little adventure: they rode bikes together, bounced around on the trampoline, swam at the beach, flew kites, played with Legos, painted, and spent endless time playing with Pina, their sweet dog. It was like a kid’s dream come true! The house itself is simple, cozy, and full of warmth. It's tucked away in a small alley close to the beach. What made it truly special was the warm local living vibe. One of the highlight was when Ketut’s wife invited us for a delicious home-cooked dinner. Thank you Ketut and family for the amazing hospitality. This place has a heart, and we hope to come back someday!

Our stay at Komang’s place was truly unforgettable! The price is absolutely amazing for what this accommodation has to offer — a breathtaking view of the jungle and the volcano, super clean amenities, and a peaceful location in a quiet, traditional village where everyone is incredibly friendly. But the real highlight of our stay was Komang’s cooking. We’ve spent three weeks in Bali and tried many warungs and restaurants, but nothing compared to the food Komang prepared for us. He cooked everything from scratch, using mostly ingredients from his own garden, and tailored every dish exactly to our taste — we asked for spicy hot, and he delivered perfectly! Every meal was fresh, packed with flavor, and made with so much care. It was hands down the best Balinese food we had during our trip. If you’re looking for an authentic, relaxing stay with unbeatable food, Komang’s place is the perfect choice. Highly recommend!

The authentic Bali experience in a beautiful setting and a peaceful environment. Here you have both a private space along with being part of the homestead. There are many places to explore/be even within his property. Many places to eat, a meditation nook & a swing* overlooking rice fields & a river the enjoy. One waterfall is only a 10min leisurely walk away, it’s a gem. When I first arrived I felt at ease and excited actually as he shared menues for -activities he guides -spa treatments on site (amazing & a must-enjoy!) -meals by his lovely wife and -access to a driver whom is a family member. Honestly I had to stay longer as I love his peaceful home with many conveniences (bonus’s) and the amazing experiences (Temples, Purification Ceremony, Bali New Years, Waterfalls, Rice Fields, Hinduism & other Conversations etc!) Absolutely amazing hosts - the entire family is involved in caring for your visit here. It’ll be hard to leave but I am grateful to have been. :)

We had a lovely time staying in amed at made’s. The location is great right by the water and you can wake up to the sunrise over the ocean. Made and her husband are very kind and thoughtful and we really enjoyed talking to them. Definitely would like to come back. Highly recommend this Airbnb and the hospitality is unbeatable
