Magnifique ! Foncez ! Le logement: Wahou ! Propre, cosy, confort. Une magnifique terrasse avec un jacuzzi privé dont nous avons beaucoup profité et une vue sur le petit port à couper le souffle. Une cuisine avec tout ce qu'il faut (frigidaire, vaisselle, couverts, etc ...). 2 belles salles de bains avec tout ce qu'il faut (serviettes, produits, etc ...). Chambres confortables. Un salon avec Netflix, pour ceux qui le soir ont envie de se poser un peu. L'accueil: Wahou ! Harry nous attendait avec le sourire, malgré notre retard (avion, location de voiture, les aléas des voyages🤣). Sur place un tas de choses pour bien commencer nos vacances : fruits, charcuterie, pain, eaux, coca et de quoi déjeuner (confitures, miel ,café ..) Le gros+: Merci à Harry pour ses bons conseils (lieux à visiter, restaurants, tavernes, plages ...) et sa constante disponibilité et rapidité à répondre pendant notre séjour. L'endroit: Très joli port, un peu bruyant et animé le soir. Bon départ pour sillonner.

Very nice modern house (less than five years old?) overlooking the sea. Everything in very good working order, including powerful air conditioning in the bedrooms. Frequent cleaning of the pool area was a benefit, particularly when a storm had come in the night before. Very convenient to Rethymno as well as to several bakeries and restaurants towards the centre of the island.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we booked, the host’s communication was excellent — always quick to respond and incredibly helpful. The hospitality was truly top-notch; We felt so welcome and cared for throughout our visit. The space itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s clear the host puts a lot of thought into creating a clean, cozy, and inviting environment. Every little detail was perfect. I also really appreciated how helpful and accommodating the host was, going out of their way to make sure we had a smooth and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, and I would definitely stay here

Theo’s apartment is absolutely beautiful place to stay right in the heart of the old city - we had an amazing stay and thoroughly recommend. Theo was a brilliant host, the personal welcome and flexible check in and check out made us feel right at home even after a long journey. The apartment is beautifully equipped and finished, with comfortable living area, well equipped kitchen and lovely bedrooms with lots of storage. The roof terrace is stunning, catching the sun all day with lots of comfortable furniture. The location is perfect for food and shopping in the heart of the old city, with stunning sea swimming locations a short walk away. We had a wonderful stay, Theo was awesome and the overall cost was good value for money.

Le logement était impeccable, propre et bien rangé. Pamela nous a accueillie pour notre court séjour à Heraklion. Nous y étions bien installés, à une quinzaine de minutes en voiture du centre de la ville et à 10min de l’aéroport ce qui a facilité l’organisation de notre fin de séjour.

Clean and spacious accommodation on many levels set down from the road- so lots of steps to consider. Set at the top of a breathtakingly beautiful valley overlooking the town and sea nearby and snow capped mountains opposite. Pool was well used and the jacuzzi was a bonus. Comfy beds and a choice of 3 terraces all with shade or sunshine. Traffic noise can echo up the valley at busier times. Local villages and walks from the door are stunning - good beaches nearby and only 50 mins by car from Chania airport. Car necessary to get to town to shop and local amenities. Travel light - there is a washing machine and plenty of towels. Provision of bathroom products, tea, coffee enough for first day. Bring own beach towels. Double glazing excellent for peaceful nights sleep and shutters keep house cool during hot sunny days. Good value for money and our excellent host was superbly responsive after unexpected storm damage.

This place was unbelievable! Absolutely beautiful area and location. We wish we had stayed longer. This was our first time in Crete and happened to pick the very best place! There were 9 of us, and we fit very well. Tina was great. Penelope was lovely, but did not speak English (she lives on the first floor). We would highly recommend this area and this house! Next time we will stay longer!

Absolutely incredible stay! This villa in Crete exceeded every expectation. The location was stunning—perched above the Mediterranean with breathtaking views that greeted us every morning from the infinity pool. The pool and jacuzzi were cleaned daily, which made every dip feel luxurious and fresh. The service was exceptional—the hosts were thoughtful, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Even the Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, which can be hard to find in more remote areas, but here it worked flawlessly. Inside, the villa was immaculate. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking meals a pleasure. Linens were clean and soft, the bathroom and shower were modern and spacious, and everything smelled fresh and well-maintained. It’s rare to find a place that nails both luxury and comfort, but this villa did just that. We didn’t want to leave, and we’re already dreaming of coming back. An absolute gem!

Very high class Villa, if you are looking for quality accommodation then look no further. My family consisted of 7 adults and an 18 month old, stayed for 8 days. Everyone loved it. There is a great traditional taverna only 10 minutes walk away, a big supermarket 15 mins by car and great beach again just 15 mins by car. We were there in May, spend most of the time around the pool and firing up the fantastic BBQ!

Fantastic stay in a great villa. Swimming pool on the roof is fabulous. Very well equipped property with everything you might need. Beds are really comfortable with ample air conditioning units in the rooms. Great location for touring Crete in the car, but a bit far out from Chania if you want to walk into the town. Taxis were readily available. Host is really helpful with recommendations.

We had the perfect stay at Villa Avrilla and Dimitris is a friendly and responsive host who helpfully navigated our complicated check in and check out requests. The Villa is very well equipped and stylish just like the photos and with plenty of lovely outdoor spaces and a great pool. The beds and showers are of high quality. A lovely welcome hamper and a bottle of wine was really appreciated. The location is fantastic, feeling very private but with shops, tavernas and a great beach just a stroll away. We would definitely return and have no hesitation in recommending to other guests.

Vi var meget begejstrede for at leje jeres virkeligt smukke bolig. Huset er helt fantastisk, det ligger med den mest fantastiske udsigt ud over byen, huset fremstod rent og pænt alle vegne, der var kælet for detaljerne overalt. Jeres værtskab, jeres service og vilje til at hjælpe os, med alt fra grundig introduktion til huset og dets faciliteter, ordring af fastfood, da vi ankom sent. Hvor finder vi en rigtig god slagter, bestilling af Taxa og flere andre spørgsmål, gav vores ophold en ekstra positiv dimension. Kombinationen af huset i sig selv og jeres værtskab, gjorde vores ferie til noget helt særligt. Som ganske enkelt skal have topkarakterer på alle parametre. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen. My husband, our 7yo daughter, and I stayed at Michaela's house in Crete for five nights in April, and we enjoyed it very much. The inside is clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely, but the outside living space - the pool area, the outside dining/grilling area, the terraces - make it special. Michaela's mother Eva, who lives next door, is an exceptionally welcoming and kind host. While she was nearby to help make our stay as comfortable as possible, there was no loss of privacy in the proximity. The house is in a quiet residential area, and we rented a car to get to grocery stores, restaurants, beaches, etc., and to explore Crete in general; this was easy and worked out very well. The weather during our stay was still cool enough, especially at night, so we didn't make full use of the AC system, but the house seems well equipped to handle summer heat. All in all, we recommend and hope to stay again sometime!

Wir waren im Mai mit einer Gruppe von Freunden für 12 Nächte Gast in dieser wunderschönen Villa. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Chrysoula empfangen, sogar ein Willkommenspaket aus verschiedenen kretischen Produkten stand für uns bereit. Die Villa war sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Es gibt insgesamt 5 klimatisierte Schlafzimmer, alle mit Zugang zu Veranda oder Balkon und 4 Badezimmer. Die Küche ist zweckmäßig und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Das Highligt ist jedoch der Garten voller verschiedener Obstbäume, Orangen, Zitronen. Mispeln, Granatapfel usw. und man darf sich an allem bedienen. So gab es jeden Tag frisch gepressten O Saft. Der Poolbereich ist sehr sauber und es gibt viele Liegen und Sonnenschirme. Ebenso gibt es eine Outdoor Küche mit Steingrill und Ofen sowie eine Spüle. Chrysoula war jederzeit für uns erreichbar und sie und ihre liebevollen Eltern haben uns einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bereitet. Danke nochmal für alles! Weiterempfehlung 100%

Der Aufenthalt dort war sehr schön. Besonders der Poolbereich und die Aussicht auf das Meer hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Kyriaki war eine tolle Gastgeberin. Direkt bei Check-in haben wir ein kleines Willkommens Geschenk erhalten mit griechischen Spezialitäten. Außerdem kam Kyriaki während unseres Aufenthaltes um die Bettwäsche und Handtücher auszutauschen und den Pool nochmal zu reinigen. Sehr empfehlenswert! Die Stadt Bali ist etwas ruhiger und man benötigt auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Die nächste größere Stadt ist Rethymno und ist ungefähr eine halbe Stunde Fahrt entfernt.
