Such a lovely stay!!!! Mareike and Georgios was extremely helpful they organised a taxi for me and picked up in the little village since my husband was coming later with our car. The place was very peaceful and private. I thought there would be a restaurant but honestly it’s a good thing on the location there isn’t one because it made it very peaceful that a restaurant was not next door. Georgios even organised a BBQ for us which was a highlight that we could just BBQ at home. They were extremely helpful and provided us with loads of local recommendations. I would come back any day!!!!!

What a wonderful place for a peaceful few days! The view is breathtaking and the area is just beautiful. The villa is extremely well appointed and has every amenity you could ask for, including a fantastic salt water pool. Hora Sfakion is a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk away and has a choice of shops and tavernas all serving great food. My partner and I stayed with our young baby daughter and Alexandra and Lefteris couldn’t have been more helpful setting up a cot and high chair for our arrival.

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

The house is truly something special. The interior and design of the house is super tasteful and combines traditional Crete with modern elements. Everything in the house was spotless and brand-new. The view from the terrace was breathtaking and the courtyard was very cosy. We can only recommend this gem of house at Crete. The location is a little remote but perfect to relax and enjoy Crete off the beaten paths. We hope we will come back. Also the village where the house is located is so picturesque. Amazing local tavern with great authentic food are in walking distance.

The Location was amazing. Quite and private. Everything was amazing there was nothing to complain about probably the best airbnb I have ever stayed in. Marianna is absolutely amazing. The sweetest and most caring host ever. She gave us so many recommendations and was beyond helpful. I would recommend mend this place to everyone!!

Everything was absolutely perfect, from the warm welcome of Jude and Andreas to the beauty of the place, the cleanliness of the house, its comfort and amenities, the attention to detail, the taste with which the objects were selected, the surrounding landscape and the pool! We had a wonderful week and will definitely come back.

We had a very nice week in Manolis' villa. The house is very well maintained and spacious, with high-quality fly screens on the windows everywhere. The outdoor area with kitchen and pool is also great. In addition, there is the beautiful view of the sea. That is, we felt very comfortable and can only recommend the house. The neighboring village of Analipsi has some nice taverns (the Sirtaki is especially good). We found the proximity to Heraklion Airport very convenient, but it also means there is a lot of air traffic.

We LOVED our stay at Butterfly, and felt sad when we left! We came to Crete for a week for a birthday celebration, and wanted to be a little out of the tourist areas. Our check in was seamless, and Theo from Muses travel was always contactable to help us out with anything. The WiFi wasn’t working properly when we got there, and everyone went out of their way to get it fixed for us. The village of Armeni was beautiful and had an excellent mini market (shoutout to Niko), and a couple of great restaurants. Rethymno is a beautiful city which is just 10 minutes away. There were four of us so it was reasonably priced to hire a driver for our day trips, so we saw Knossos and Heraklion, and then also took a day trip to Spili, Agia Galini and Matala. If we ever get back to Crete would LOVE to return to Butterfly.🦋

Together with my wife and daughter I really did enjoy our stay at Elenis Apartment! We had to leave Crete earlier than expected (due to some private stuff). Eleni was very understanding and accepted our request of shortening the stay. We got a refund of 3 days which was very accommodating!! The flat got everything you need, we spent most of our time on the balcony looking at the sea. The beach close by is nice and quiet. The next restaurant is in walking distance of 25minutes, we do recommend a rental car though.

My wife loved this place. Everything from the new modern unit to the garden grounds. The bed was comfortable and the private parking area was also very convenient. The beach is walking distance, only half a mile away(downhill). But we didn’t feel like walking uphill back to the unit, se we just drove. An adorably friendly cat visits daily, which my wife also enjoyed.

This was the best AirBnb I've ever stayed at, and it really made our trip to Crete. Maria was an A+ host. She was extremely responsive and helpful and pointed us to all of the best beaches and restaurants. The house is in immaculate condition, very clean, and very spacious, and is only 10 minutes from downtown Chania. Thank you for everything, Maria!

We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation in Dimitri's apartment. The apartment is fantastically beautiful and tastefully decorated, with high-quality furniture and nothing is really missing. The terrace has a unique beautiful view of the sea and we spent many beautiful hours there. Dimitris is super friendly, always available and with helpful tips for excursions, restaurants, etc. he helped us a lot. He also arranged the transfer from the airport for us and it worked out just fine. The location of the apartment is also perfect. Supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance and the bus station is just across the street. We highly recommend the apartment, for us the most beautiful so far and we will be happy to think back to the time and come back soon.

A beautiful Crete getaway in a great home. Charikleia will always be there for you to answer your questions, give you good recommendations and even bring some traditional sweets. The accommodation is very well located, quiet and relaxing with all the equipment to be comfortable during the stay. You have nearby not even a 5-minute walk to a small convenience store and a 10-minute walk to the beach and small restaurants (be careful in early November only 4 open restaurants). To get to Elafonisi or Balos, plan to drive 3h10 and 3h45. For a family of three we really enjoyed this largely livable place as a family. The pool is a real plus. It was a great vacation and I really recommend this place. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity. Thanks for the three of us!

A big thank you to Konstantinos for our stay in Crete. The accommodation is simply great, with a pool with stunning views of the mountains, a real asset for unforgettable moments of relaxation. The village where the house is located is also very welcoming, we highly recommend the tavern at the entrance to the village for its delicious specialties. We were also delighted by the attention of Konstantinos, who spoiled us with a fridge filled with fresh fruit, delicious homemade jam pots and, of course, Raki. All of this went a long way in making our stay idyllic. Thanks again for everything. We will keep a great memory of this experience.

The house and the landlord Gorgios are great and highly recommended. The house is quiet, very clean, has a great garden and everything for a relaxing holiday. Gorgios had even provided a basic supply of food and drink for the first evening and brought us rolls and strawberries over a short visit. Also, Gorgios was very flexible - thank you for everything. We will be back.

Andy is a great woman and a great host, friendly, cheerful, we felt at home with her. Separate entrance, rest in peace and quiet. The studio is very clean and cozy, it was nice to spend time on the terrace full of flowers. She hosted us as if we were her closest family. I greet and recommend this place with all my heart♥️. My husband and I travelled to Crete for a wedding. I didn’t take too much time looking into where to stay, so when we arrived and saw the quality of the apartment and location I was incredibly proud of myself. Our host Manos was helpful and quick to respond to our requests and needs. Our home from home was beyond clean, incredibly well stocked and the location was unparalleled. Beds were comfortable and linen was great quality. Cupboards were well stocked with spices and oils, there was a beautiful basket of fruit and you can even purchase a well stocked bottle of wine. If I could give this gem of an Airbnb a 6 I would. I shall be visiting again. Thank you Manos for all your top recommendations and advice.

A real insider tip for those seeking peace, nature and privacy. The accommodation is idyllically located, surrounded by lots of olive trees and mountains - perfect for switching off. We particularly liked the beautiful pool, the well-maintained tennis court and the refreshing outdoor shower – a real highlight after a hot day in the sun. Everything was very clean and lovingly designed. Magdalena was always available and quickly answered all our questions. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be back! A tavern, a gas station and a small bakery are within 15 minutes' walking distance. However, since there is no sidewalk, a car is definitely recommended! The nearest beach, Heraklion and the airport are about 15 minutes by car.

Simply stunning apartment, glorious views and easy access to the little village of Kalyves. We spent most days by the pool and evenings eating at the many restaurants by the beach. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped, the views from the living room are stunning. Eleni is an attentive and very responsive host who looked after us extremely well. We will be back very soon!

The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a holiday. Clean and well maintained. There was extra cleaning during the week. Great view of the sea and the mountains. The cars passing on the main road, which is 100m below the villa, create a slight noise, but it is not unbearable. Maria is a great host and despite the late evening time of arrival she was waiting for us with a smile. She took care of us all the time and gave us valuable advice. There was a problem with the dishwasher, which was fixed the next day as soon as I informed Maria. We had a great week and would come back again.

We enjoyed our entire stay! From the minute we got there, until we left Joanna was easily reachable and the property is fantastic. We hope to be back again!

Clean and spacious accommodation on many levels set down from the road- so lots of steps to consider. Set at the top of a breathtakingly beautiful valley overlooking the town and sea nearby and snow capped mountains opposite. Pool was well used and the jacuzzi was a bonus. Comfy beds and a choice of 3 terraces all with shade or sunshine. Traffic noise can echo up the valley at busier times. Local villages and walks from the door are stunning - good beaches nearby and only 50 mins by car from Chania airport. Car necessary to get to town to shop and local amenities. Travel light - there is a washing machine and plenty of towels. Provision of bathroom products, tea, coffee enough for first day. Bring own beach towels. Double glazing excellent for peaceful nights sleep and shutters keep house cool during hot sunny days. Good value for money and our excellent host was superbly responsive after unexpected storm damage.
