Nestled on the foot of mount Giouchtas, in the picturesque village of Archanes, our stone countryhouse is located in one of the most central and beautiful parts of the area. Archanes are 20 minutes away from the centre of Heraklion(15km), 15 minutes away from Heraklion's International airport, 15 minutes away from the famous Minoan palace of Knossos, as well as 20 minutes away from numerous beautiful beaches. Situated in the center of the most important wine-producing region of Crete, it has a 5000 years old history, while excavations conducted in the last 50 years have brought to light a lot of sites dating back to the Minoan period. The village is also very famous for its typical Cretan architecture. Most of the houses have been restored recently and Archanes has won the second award as “the best restored village in Europe”. The house enjoys a spacious interior and a private garden, which is protected by a peripheral wall. This is a typical characteristic of old Cretan houses of the area. Guests enter the private garden through the gate which then leads to the main building. I am always at the disposal of my guests, so that I can make their holiday problem-free. Furthermore, there is a free parking very close to the house. The country house is only 20’ away from the “Nikos Kazantzakis Airport” and the port. The archeological site of Knossos is 15’ away.

The KORES boutique houses are an independent, self-catering lodging of two furnished residences that have been specially developed in a completely renovated multi-storey medieval building, in the traditional district of Topanas, on the western side of the old Venetian harbor of Chania.Both residences are enchanting houses with hospitable rooms in light and frugal lines. "Ekaterini" occupies the second and third floor of the lodging and consists of: The second floor with the living room, dining room and open plan kitchen, a bedroom with two single beds, a den with the “Turkish” couch that can easily host a 5th individual in the residence if necessary and a bathroom with a closed shower. The rooms of the second floor have access to a garden with a dining table, six chairs and an umbrella offering ample shade. The third floor with a master bedroom and its private terrace with a couch, a patio table and sun beds give the opportunity to guests to enjoy relaxation in the sun and the unhindered views of traditional backstreets, roofs and lofts of buildings, and of the mountains in the south.
