Balranald Cottage

Stunning spot on North Uist which we would definitely book again. The cottage was a great space for Christmas as it had a cosy lounge which stayed nice and warm with the fire on with the additional ‘second lounge’ in the conservatory for games and great views! Two bathrooms is perfect for mixed families and the kitchen was super well equipped for making our surf and turf dinner and our Boxing Day roast! Scott was super responsive and helped me source a couple of lobsters too! Really nice chap and great cottage!

Beachhouse The Tidal Dwelling Stunning view

Andre was brilliant with all our changes of plan, communicating clearly and efficiently, constantly going above and beyond to accommodate us. Unfortunately due to the ferry cancellations we were unable to stay in the end, but wouldn't hesistate to book the accommodation again at a later date.
A scenic view of a coastal path leads through tall grasses towards a tranquil shoreline. Soft waves reflect a pale blue hue under a cloudy sky, with distant mountains providing a serene backdrop. The area exemplifies natural beauty and offers an inviting atmosphere for exploration.

Great location. Swimming from the doorstep at high tide, walking across to the shop at low tide. Lovely views from the conservatories which we hardly left whilst in the house. Comfy beds, good bathrooms, nicely furnished, all the equipment you need. Would stay again, it was a great part of a lovely stay in North Uist.
