One of the nicest places I've stayed at in Old Forge. Absolutely perfect location for walking to all the nightlife, can ride right from the house, fuel up at water safari and right to the trails

We were so excited to spend a peaceful weekend in the Adirondacks, and this is the perfect place! The living area was warm and cozy, the kitchen had everything that we needed, the bathroom was clean and updated. The seating was comfortable and the smart TV was a good size for the space. The beds were also comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful in the snow, which was plowed regularly during a two-day snow storm. We were just a few minutes drive from town, which always has lots to do. The grocery store is well-stocked and there are lots of fun shops. The host was very clear with instructions in the listing, and very accommodating while we were there. She even sent someone to make sure that we could all make it up the driveway in the snow storm (which was no problem at all for us with AWD). We wanted to go back to the cabin as soon as we got home, since we already missed the peace, quiet, and beauty. We will certainly go back again. Thank you for having us!

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful cabin in Old Forge! Nestled in the heart of the Adirondacks, the home was everything I hoped for and more—cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Everything was just as pictured (if not better!), and I truly couldn’t find a single thing id change!!. I’d come back in a heartbeat!

The Wildlife Refuge was the perfect place for our family to spend the Christmas holiday. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out, open presents, play games, and enjoy a meal together. Check-in directions were clear, the back deck with fire pit has an amazing view, and the house was more than spacious for six adults. We enjoyed the proximity to the Village of Inlet and the chance to take advantage of the beautiful winter weather.
