Cabin vacation rentals in Bald Eagle State Forest

House was perfect for our needs. spacious, lots of beds, and even toys for the baby. the house looked exactly what the pictures looked like. Very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would really recommend this house.

nice cabin in the woods. you can see the neighbors, but they weren't that close. everything was clean. enjoyed our visit. would have been even better if it wasn't cold and rainy outside, but hot tub helped with that.

I am extremely pleased with our choice of accommodation. My children had a wonderful experience, and I appreciated the peaceful surroundings. The provision of a bonfire ring was a nice touch, and the view was truly spectacular. While there was no television, we found alternative entertainment playing pool in the basement. The kids also enjoyed the hot tub immensely. The remote location was ideal for a relaxing getaway, and we departed feeling revitalized and inspired. This ranks among my most enjoyable Airbnb stays, and I highly recommend it. I plan to return in the future.

Incredibly awesome place! A must-- stay! My wife and I just got back from being here for our 25th anniversary. no unpleasant surprises when arriving here. Everything absolutely accurate based on the photos and all descriptions. A beautifully designed cabin, spacious, outdoor hot tub and fire pit, wrap around porch, lots of land to explore in the beautiful Pennsylvania mountains by the Susquehanna river. Even saw a large group of elk as we were pulling up! Secluded, peaceful, and an all-around quality property. All instructions were clear, simple, and fair. Several items are labeled for convenience, everything easy to use and operate. Also, Paul was a perfect host - very responsive, accommodating, helpful, and great customer service every time I contacted him. I couldn't have asked for a better stay for mine and my wife's special occasion. Great experience for a fair price, worth every dollar! Thanks again Paul.

The only thing missing was a hair dryer I should have asked though just use to hotels always having one

We had at a wonderful overnight stay at Jeff and Tara’s cabin. Very quiet and peaceful especially when that can be enjoyed in the hot tub!! My son told me to give them a 5 star review and additional 5 star review bc the cabin was beautiful,it had a hot tub and the upstairs bed was super comfy! Highly recommend their cabin but make sure you have a vehicle that sits up high bc the road going to the camp is rough going up(which is stated in their listing). We definitely plan to come back!

Sadie’s place was great! We had a wonderful time watching the sunset and in the hot tub. Bed was super comfy. A few spiders and bugs inside so not for severe arachnophobes. Could have done with a toaster (we set off the smoke alarm making toast in a pan!). Wouldn’t want to cook here really, we had a cheeseboard and it was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

This cozy home was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. The feel of the house is relaxing and cozy and things were clean and organized. The hot tub was definitely a plus!

We had a wonderful stay at Emily's cabin. The place exceeded our expectations. There are so many thoughtful touches that made the place feel extra cozy. The wifi is a little spotty but that wasn't an issue for us. It was so nice to enjoy coffee on the front porch in the mornings. Barely any cars drove by during our stay which made it feel extremely private. We definitely would love to return when it's warmer to enjoy the firepit and more time outside. Highly recommend!

The home was beautiful and clean. It was a short drive to town for supplies and to the lake for some fresh air. Our family loved the space to spread out for sleeping. Beds and bedding were so comfortable and the wooded setting was dark and peaceful, all of which made for restful sleep. The kids loved the game space in the basement- playing ping pong, air hockey, and on the PSII. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped for making family meals and the large dining table allowed for the 10 of us to eat together. All of this, plus we were able to enjoy all of this with our 2 dogs. Ellen was responsive to a couple of questions and needs, as well as understanding when an item was accidentally broken. The only concern was some additional rules that were not on the original listing, but were messaged a few weeks before our reservation.

Everything was perfect comfy cozy snd clean! can't wait to go back in the summer!🩷

This place was perfectly located near Kettle Creek SP, Hyner Run SP & the places we wanted to hike in Sproul SF. We got to see birds right off the back porch. There was an entire group of Northern Parulas nesting back there! Ravens flying high above, Whip-Poor Wills singing after dark & tons of other song birds. We even heard a Ruffed Grouse. Such a treat! The place was clean, had everything we needed & the television was easy to use. Definitely recommend staying here, you’ll love it!

Exceptional location for us. Great communication with hosts. Would be great for families or small groups. Lots of space. Wi-fi can be spotty/slow at times. Would love to hear the life story/history of this cabin.😊

Cozy and very clean. The porch is so nice, and it’s very peaceful to stare out at the mountains in the distance and listen to the birds chirping. Fire ring area was very nice. Everything was nicely kept. We had a really good time, and had everything we needed.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful contemporary cabin! Our group of seven absolutely loved it. The house was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. One of our favorite features was the outdoor fireplace—it was perfect for gathering, relaxing, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We all agreed that we would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to visit again in the future!

Rhonda and Dennis were very friendly and accommodating. They plowed the roads for us after a snowfall and even laid down gravel during our stay to ensure we could get our cars out. The cabin was exactly as advertised, and we were very happy with it. The beds were soft and comfortable, making for an easy and restful sleep. My friends and I had a great time staying here!

This is our second stay at the cabin and it was great. We come to the area to visit family and this is the perfect place to stay with our dogs and kids. The dogs love the adjacent field and the kids love all the games and movies. I love that my dogs, kids and husband are happy and I can relax!

The place was perfect tucked away in the woods with plenty of its own space. We absolutely loved it as we needed a place to recharge and get out of the norm for a few days. Everything was as explained and clean. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back again

It's the perfect cabin getaway! Ruth was proactive with all the instructions on how to get there and how to check in, she's not lying when she says cell coverage is spotty at best! We used this a s a meeting place for some friends for a Penn State game and the commute to and from the stadium was easy. 10/10 would recommend this place for anyone in need of a getaway and can survive without cell service and spotty wifi.

Extremely happy with the stay and host. Very few places during my stays are this well kept, go above expectations are well thought of. This is one of them. We were a large group with kids, few seniors and this home is much better than the photos. Very roomy, clean, very well managed and the kitchen is very well stocked - no need to carry any kind of silverware or utensils for groups of 25. On the activities, they have toys for lil one and several games in the paly area downstairs. WiFi worked well for us and I recommend all wheel drive vehicles if planning a visit in winter due to snow/icy conditions. Gregg went above and beyond to take care our group. Very grateful to the hosts and thanks again.
