But if you want to experience the bustle of the city, Siófok, the seaside resort town of Lake Balaton, is nearby, where there are many entertainment and shopping opportunities.

Our holiday home is located on Ábrahámhegy right next to the waterfront. It is unique in that it has a private pier. We just walk out of the house and we can already swim. It is also a perfect place for fishermen. The terrace on the balcony offers a fabulous view. Our spacious ground floor terrace is protected from the sun. We are next to the Káli pool, so you can't be bored. There is a lot to discover, both in terms of natural beauty and gastronomy. The house and jetty are used only by guests.

Mulberry Tree Cottage

On the northern shore of Lake Balaton, in the picturesque Lovas, our guests can relax in a village environment in a Provence-style, 19th century stone house, its garden and pool. The ruins of a 200-year-old barn accommodate the garden dining and lounge area. In the tastefully furnished, comfortable house with a cathedral-like living-kitchen, the guests will feel at home and at ease. Paloznak, Csopak, Balatonfüred are a few minutes' drive away. Alsóörs can be reached with a comfortable walk.

The spacious garden offers a wonderful opportunity: barbecue under the starry sky, play ping-pong, eat our lunch and dinner in a covered garden, drink wine in the heated bathtub Our large terrace: with sun loungers, garden furniture and cozy lantern lighting in the evening for those who want to relax. Nearby there are gastro restaurants, pubs, shops, confectionery, many hiking trails.

Betsy II Holiday Home

Pet friendly home & in Balatonaliga for up to 4 people. It's a private, fenced piece of land in a quiet location. The living room/bedroom has a double& a small sofa bed. This space fits 2 adults and 2 children comfortably. Please note that some of the reviews on Airbnb refer to Betsy I, an old caravan we retired in 2024. We now only have Betsy II, a brand new container home. Betsy II is a ten minute walk from the beach, train station and grocery store and 5 from a great restaurant.

The room has a separate entrance, lockable, and opens from the common terrace. The guest house has a large garden with barn, garden pond, fireplace. The house is located in downtown Balatonfüred, between three churches, about 25-30 minutes walk from the shore of Lake Balaton. There are restaurants, bakeries, shops and cafés in the area.

Even in bad weather, we do not miss the paddling, as our covered terrace has a 5-person jacuzzi, which fits perfectly into the environment. The cottage itself is located on a quiet little street and is named after the mine at the end of the plot.
