The Yurt @ Ranish

Paul was an excellent host. Communication was clear and he is very responsive to messages. Paul met us on arrival. We had a great chat and he gave us some recommendations for the morning. We would highly recommend him as a host, and the Yurt as a quirky comfortable place to stay.
A cozy living area is highlighted by a teal sofa adorned with patterned cushions. A wooden beam stretches across the ceiling, enhancing the space. A bright bouquet of yellow flowers rests on a white cabinet, while a lantern pendant light adds warmth to the ambiance.

What a beautiful cottage, with fantastic views! We spent 3 nights at the cottage, when visiting the islands, providing an ideal location for exploring. For two couples and two dogs, we really enjoyed our stay, finding everything we needed in the cottage. Well maintained, with a really nice presentation and welcome treats

Hebridean Bothy Pods - Bothy Buidhe

This was a delightful place to stay. A romantic and cosy cabin, perfect for two. It was superbly clean and the facilities second to none. Everything needed plus more was there, even some pasta and beans for anyone turning up in need of one meal. The view over the loch and mountains was magnificent. I even saw a red deer jump the fence near the delightful rear garden which was a real sun trap. We loved the seating space by the door which was cosy and in the sun. It was the perfect base to travel around the island and a delight to return to in the evenings. Thanks Innes for making it such a lovely place. Please note that if you use just the post code (as we did) to find the place that is not helpful. Use the instructions provided by Innes

Blackhouse Bothies - Seaspray Bothy

The view was absolutely breathtaking and exactly as shown in the pictures. The bed was large and comfortable, with a spacious duvet that made it feel even cozier. We made use of the fireplace, but the room was warm enough even without it. Cooking outdoors was a great experience and turned out really well. The hosts were always available and communicative, which made planning smooth for both sides. They warmly welcomed every guest, making us feel right at home.

Calum’s croft is charming and quaint and we found it to be the perfect mix between modern and original. The views were incredible from every window and it was incredibly peaceful. Every detail has been considered and provided for. Calum was an exceptional host and was very proactive with his communication. We encountered some ferry issues and he was very accommodating and reassuring. The record player was a fun touch to have while we enjoyed a fire. We would have loved to know more about Calum’s grandfather and the working croft but we did really enjoy the old photos in the library. If the stars align, we would absolutely love to come back!

Margarets' place was in such beautiful surroundings we ended up driving right past her entrance! If you follow her directions carefully and keep your eyes peeled for her driveway marker; you will have no problem finding this pristine country home. The accommodations were gorgeous and spotless. Both the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable and whe had everything needed for tea (and lovely fresh eggs from her hens). When we couldn't find towels for taking a shower, she responded within seconds and brought them right to us! I would highly recommend this abode. It is lovely, quiet and Keose area is so beautiful!
