There aren’t many places to eat in Namo Buddha and the food this lovely family cooked was excellent and the kitchen is clean. We enjoyed the quiet room and the clean bathroom with hot water. The location is also excellent. From the roof you have an excellent view of the mountains and Namo Buddha. There is a nice walk from the hotel that goes around the town. I would say its the best location to stay for your visit there. The room is cheap and the host will take you on hikes and to other location in the area. It was nice feeling at home there. It’s a simple home stay, but the way its serviced makes it feel far better.

We loved our stay & will certainly go back again! The place is unique with a large garden where you can explore permaculture farming or just relax and enjoy the views, bird song, and fresh air. We also did a short walk around the area, which I recommend (note: there is a hall at Venuvana where guests can do yoga etc). The rooms & interiors are beautifully designed with natural materials and soothing colours & plants. The bathtub is a highlight and the soaps, shampoos etc are Ayurvedic which adds a nice extra touch. But best of all are the kind & gentle hosts and the delicious food they serve with ingredients fresh from the farm. They were so kind to adjust dinner to our daughter’s preferences and we loved every single meal (the variety!). My favorite was the soup and the savory Indian/Nepali breakfast with the best milk tea (the rosella tea & coffee are also great). If you are looking to get out of the city and slow down while being well taken care of, this place is for you!

The stay at Uttam's place was very lovely. I want to share how my stay was and some recommendations for anyone who is thinking about it for themselves. Firstly, the place is located it what felt like the a very authentic village experience. Very peaceful and the people were so welcoming to me. While there I slept when the sun went down, played with the local kids who can speak english well and make up for where they cant with their friendly attitude, and i ate with the seasons. Meditating lots and going for walks to the nearby peaceful pine forest. For other people, i would recommend staying at least a week to get the full experience. It takes some time to get there and it took me 1-2 days to really settle in. Due to how quiet and simple it was. This can be a great experience to do by yourself if youre really wanting serenity. I think it could also be a really lovely time with a friend or as a couple for sure. Uttam has many recommendations and can make your stay amazing.
