There are a few pets (dog, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

The Landscape

In this luxurious spacious home, you will experience rural life at its best! With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel"

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel" The cozy log cabin can be found on the grounds of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden wall, you can look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and into the beautifully maintained garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or other crops. The log cabin contains a bedroom, bathroom and living room and the whole can be heated with a wood stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.

Special B&B "Het Zevende Leven".

Welcome to our old farmhouse, part of which the former stable has been transformed into an attractive B&B. Specially decorated with lots of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have your own entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and YouTube. A FULL BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The B&B is separate and closed off from the main building. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one B&B room.

Boshuisje Vos, with a nice large garden in Bakkeveen.

Vos is a lovely vacation home on a large plot of 980 m2. The large private garden has plenty of places to sit. Inside you will see the light Scandinavian decor, which immediately gives you a nice welcome. The living area of Vos is a space with a round table, a cozy large sofa, a chair and a pouf. A lovely place for young and old. There is ultimate peace and quiet, and there is plenty of activity nearby to look for. The playground is close and yet it is a very quiet place.

Welcome to our unique tiny house, hidden in a private forest on the outskirts of the charming Frisian village of Noordwolde. This modern accommodation is ideal for peace seekers and nature lovers. In the summer, enjoy your spacious private garden with seating area, a veranda and a hammock among the trees. In winter, you can sit comfortably inside by the wood-burning stove, which heats the room in no time. The tiny house is compact but equipped with every comfort!
