Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

That's why we offer you free rental of bicycles, snowshoes, canoes, firewood, barbecues and kayak for those with experience. The apartment is on the first floor and has large windows. It is in the nature surrounded by the ocean, white coral beaches, islets and reefs, you can see this trough the apartment windows. Park right outsidee and indside you really have everything you might need.

Book your midnight sun or aurora experience now😍 Welcome to my childhood home located in beautiful Malangen peninsula in Balsfjord municipality, 50 minutes drive from Tromsø airport. My place is ideal for aurora watching in the wintertime without any light pollution and the perfect place to stay during summer as it is close to all the attractions in this part of Northern Norway but still nice and quiet. The place is very well equipped , remote and private, but not isolated.

With the Devil's Tooth as a backdrop, and no light pollution, this is a unique accommodation to experience the midnight sun, the northern lights, the ocean waves and everything else nature on the outer side of Senja has to offer. You can't get closer to nature - with a glass facade of almost 30 sqm you have the feeling of sitting outside while sitting inside.
