We stayed 3 nights at the property and were extremely satisfied. Location is really pleasant and quiet. Within walking distance are a restaurant, a bar and also a natural swimming pool.

We had a great time in Horta. The place has a great garden and is really quiet. In between, you can hear quiet sounds of the sea. On-street parking was not an issue. We will be happy to come back.

Beautiful sea view from the house over to Pico. We liked to be outside town and amongst the local community. There is a convenience shop and a bar close by. We had to walk quite a bit to access other shops so better to have a car as public transport is not very regular. We loved to go swimming in the natural sea water pools about 15/20 minutes walk from the house. And the bed was comfortable!

Peaceful stay! Jorge and team were very responsive and helpful! If you want to unplug from the city, this is the place to be!

We selected this unit because we wanted something close to the mountain, a nice town, and some wineries. This unit served all those needs. The unit was easy to find and access, but does have privacy from the street. There were some convenient street parking spots right in front, plus a whole other street you could park on nearby if you needed it (all free). Everything felt safe and laid back. There is also a supermarket a 10 minute walk away, great for cheaper items. Getting to the town square is a 10 minute walk. The unit was very clean and comfortable. More than spacious for two people. The kitchen has utensils and pots/pans for light duty cooking. The clothes washer worked great and super useful (as well as helping us pack lighter with less clothes). If you take hot showers, give the water tank 15 minutes between showers to replenish. Lastly, Paula was fantastic and very helpful. This was a fantastic place that helped us make great Pico memories, definitely recommend it!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at imofaila’s home . Our host was very accommodating and welcoming. She easily communicated before and during our stay. She even organized a last min tour to make the most of our time on this beautiful island. The space was clean , comfortable, and in a great location . We hope to have more time in this beautiful space when we return to the island .

One word sums up this listing "PERFECT" . Eunice was a lovely lady, who took time throughout our stay to ensure we were comfortable. She was not intusive, but corresponsed using text to check we were ok. Eunice provided more than she needed to and appeared to 'Go the extra mile' for us. She was a perfrct host. In fact this was the best Air B & B experience I have had. Eunice provided a clean, well furnished and equipped house. She provided extras I was not expecting. She had a lovely son, who stepped in when host was busy, just as a point of contact in case of a problem (there weren't any) It was reassuring to know. Location was quiet, felt safe and welcome. Helio and Paula were fantastic hosts with a beautiful home in a great location above a bakery. The sunrise views over Pico were memorable and a fantastic way to start each day. The welcome basket, their advice, generosity and wealth of information made for a fantastic stay in Faial.

Lovely apartment, much bigger than we expected. All spotlessly clean and in a great location for all the sites of Horta. Will definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at Dario's appartment. The location is great: walkable distance to the harbour and centre, but a nice quiet street. The appartment was really nice and very clean, it smelled also nice. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need, including olive oil, coffee and tea. There was also a little welcoming snack from the host. The appartment only has 1 door/window, but other then that great appartment. There is free parking around the appartment. Dario is a great host, very friendly, he even made time to chat with us and give some nice tips to do/see/eat. We would definitely recommend this appartment when visiting Horta!

Laura was of extreme kindness and always attentive. We were very welcome. Quiet location, with facilities around. We will be back for sure!

This apartment is so roomy and comfortable! Three couples can easily stay here and have an easy stay. The eat-in kitchen is large and very-well appointed. Enormous windows overlook the town, bay and Pico; they also have lightblocking shades when the sun gets too hot. The walk to town center is close but it is up a hill (that gives you the view!). Maria Teresa is a wonderful host and was very responsive with a last-minute request. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.

Great location! Direct views of the ocean and Pico island. Immediately next to a bakery that seems to always be open for every meal. Easy access to shops, restaurants, the ferry. Parking was never an issue. Everything inside the place worked well too. Good AC. Plenty of room for two. Laundry was good. Size of the shower/tub is on the small side, so be careful if you require more space to bath. Host was great, very helpful and even let us check in early and out late. Would stay again!

The days spent in Alto da Bela Vista were fantastic. Angela is an exceptional person, always available and interested in providing us with the best information and well-being. When we entered we were surprised by a basket, stuffed with regional products! We were delighted. The apartment is well equipped and very nice. The view is incredible, as we can enjoy the coast in the area of Santo Amaro (beautiful!) and see the peak itself, when discovered, but also contemplate the island of S. Jorge, right in front of us! Starting the day having breakfast, with the door open and enjoying this paradisiacal setting, fills our heart! Thank you Angela for all you have provided!

Armenio is very kind and gentle, always available for anything. The apartment is really nice and in a good position. Strongly recommended

Paulo’s place was very nice. The location was great for what we were looking for. It was clean, spacious and has a beautiful view off the porch. It was a bit warm so sleeping wasn’t as comfortable as expected. There is a an AC wall split unit in the living area which was helpful, however it didn’t reach the bedrooms. I brought my 1.5 yr old daughter and they had a crib there for me which was great. Having laundry available was also helpful. Paulo was responsive when we requested some items and needed help with the AC split unit.

1 of 3 units at the property but we never really saw the other people. the view is spectacular. the kitchen was well equipped. 2 VERY friendly cats that we adored hung around. the area is very peaceful. exactly what we were looking for

We had a great stay at the place and that there was the possibility of daily breakfast and a pool is a great plus for an Air BnB! Especially the neighboring village of Lajes has impressed us very much and invites us with its promenade and the many small restaurants, as well as the wonderful view of the Pico!

Really happy with everything and grateful for the flexible check out - definitely recommend!

A very special apartment with great sea views. We thought it was nice that the actual resident left his traces (books, CDs), that left a personal touch. The structure of the apartment is unique and the host is sympathetic.
