A beautiful, spacious and cozy house with a stunning view. Looking out to the sea and the islands of the Azores in the morning is something very special. The house offers every comfort and is a wonderful base from which to explore Pico. It is quite and cozy. We enjoyed every moment - from getting up overlooking the sea to an aperitif and sunset dinner. Ana always responded promptly, even Vaina, who takes care of the house, was always available. The arrival was unproblematic, as was the departure. A beautiful spot on earth! Feel free to come back anytime. Thank you for having us!

The apartment was as described, the hostess always easily accessible and helpful. The apartment is a bit outdated and could be renovated, but it was not described otherwise. Overall, we were very satisfied. Only in the kitchen it was not very hygenic. The location was very quiet, about 20 minutes walk to Madalena

Beautiful ground-level apartment that had everything I needed for my 4-day stay. As nice as the accommodation is, the best thing about the place might be the host Florencio who lives upstairs. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to meet Florencio, as he was called out of town to help with a friend’s medical emergency. However, he was very attentive to making sure I had good directions, local information, etc. before I arrived and was easily reachable for my questions and responded quickly during my stay. Five stars for the place, ten stars for Florencio —- highly recommended !

Nice accommodation, just like the photos. Located on a cul-de-sac, it is very quiet, facing the sea and overlooking Pico Island. From there, you can get anywhere on the island in less than 40 minutes. I didn't get a chance to be with the hosts, but communication with them was excellent. I had the pleasure of having some cats visit 😻 The only downside is the Wi-Fi, a little weak and intermittent, which is not ideal for teleworking. Other than that, I highly recommend this place. Thank you !

Both Olga and Helena are such lovely ladies! The place is very clean and cozy, very well equipped. The kitchen has all you need for a few days stay, there were also some fruits for me to have. And the figs from Olga's garden! Never had better ones, so delicious! The bed was very comfortable! Lovely shop nearby where you can buy some groceries as well as have a glass of wine on a little terrace. Santo Amaro is such a nice and strategical town to stay to explore the Pico island.

We had a very enjoyable time at this apartment in Urzilina. The location was great and a good base for getting around the island. Also there were many good restaurants nearby. Joselina was a super great host…very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. She went out of her way to share many good tips about the island. She was always very communicative throughout our stay. The accommodation was very modern and spotless with great amenities. The bed was very comfortable and we had some of our best sleeps in the Azores. We would certainly come back on our next trip to Sao Jorge. Highly recommended.

Just what we needed! We appreciate the location being a reasonable walk to restaurants but yet in a quiet part of town with a backyard view of only nature. The apartment was new, clean, simple and well taken care of. João was a good communicator. We would happily stay again.

Lovely apartment, really homely feel and a beautiful view. Pico Da/Jaiminho was quick to respond and helpful! Location was in a very cosy area avoiding the main bustle with an ocean waves waking you up. The Pico island is absolutely incredible. Thank you Pico Da, Jaiminho!

very charming house, we felt like at home and Ibi, Margit's husband, is extremely nice and welcoming, making us feel welcome. The very charming house, very typical of the region, indeed the furniture was not new but quite comfortable! in addition the view of the bay was magnificent and we could see many cachalots in the distance!

We had a really nice stay and were warmly welcomed. The apartment is very nice and modern/new. Everything you need is there. Communication is also smooth with both tips and questions/problems. You'll definitely need to have a car or scooter to be mobile. Then the apartment is a great starting point to explore the island.

Spacious house super easy check in. Lots of amenities included that were super nice such as some coffee pods, a washer and dryer, and some soap if you want to pack light. ☺️ We were given the code ahead of time including once more before arriving which made check in super easy. Street built in the last year so a little confusing to explain to taxi drivers without showing them the map but didn’t cause any real problems and was easy to get to anyways. Not in the main streets by the marina so nice and quiet for resting and a great view of the mountain. Recommend if you prefer a quiet neighborhood.

We stayed for 2 nights and really had a great time on the island. Mario greeted us and had some great tips and recommendations for different things around the island including 2 really amazing restaurants. All in all great place to stay especially when you’re taking the ferry to either pico or faial. We‘ll definitely come back on our next shores trip. :)

We stayed 3 nights at the property and were extremely satisfied. Location is really pleasant and quiet. Within walking distance are a restaurant, a bar and also a natural swimming pool.

Excellent stay, super friendly hosts, a home in the center of the Madalena with everything it takes to spend some great days. Very clean and tidy house with very beautiful views I highly recommend. Dali can leave to get to know the whole island of Pico by car. And if you're adventurous, climb the mountain of Pico. Very close to the maritime terminal that makes it possible to know the island of Faial or the island of São Jorge by boat crossing. Get to know Pico and stay at Alexandre and Silvia's house, you'll like it very much. We appreciate the great hospitality.

Very nice apartment at the center of Madalena with a view of the port. Everything present in the apartment including airco and demoisturing device which is great, the host is super friendly and responsive to requests, the place is very clean and towels are changed regularly! Ideal location for diving in Madelena or boat trips since it is very close by. We stayed with 3 and the place is small but so well organized that it worked well ! I can only recommend.

Isa is really a superhost. She stacked the house with fresh fruits, water, bread, butter, jelly, etc. She was pretty nice and responsive. The location is just great, you can be in some minutes at the next natural pool, the lava fields are walkable near the house. BBQ place, nice garden, everything clean. We loved the stay. Everytime again

Peaceful stay! Jorge and team were very responsive and helpful! If you want to unplug from the city, this is the place to be!

Paulo’s place was very nice. The location was great for what we were looking for. It was clean, spacious and has a beautiful view off the porch. It was a bit warm so sleeping wasn’t as comfortable as expected. There is a an AC wall split unit in the living area which was helpful, however it didn’t reach the bedrooms. I brought my 1.5 yr old daughter and they had a crib there for me which was great. Having laundry available was also helpful. Paulo was responsive when we requested some items and needed help with the AC split unit.
