Small house in a good location, with all amenities around. The house is great with all the necessary amenities, just plan to bring sleeping masks for those who sleep in the living room because there will be daylight ☺️ The cherry on top: the large garden and especially the fishing area at the bottom of the garden where we fished every evening with an aperitif 😍 Frédéric is flexible in terms of schedules! we'll be right back 🥰

We had a great Pentecost weekend. Very quiet and safe accommodation with children who had a great time with all the outdoor games. The adults also enjoyed the bocce court and the barbecue area. The cottage is well designed and has everything you need for a great time with the family. Thanks to Valérie for hosting us

Welcome to a peaceful haven in Marjorie's apartment. The real thing is even better than the photos. Beautiful ceiling height, very feng shui. You feel at home there. Kitchen, very convenient bathroom. Situated in front of the lake. We'll be back with pleasure:)

Very nice duplex with a nice terrace, a magnificent view of the lake, private parking and close to many shops. We also enjoyed the location, the calm and the kind attention of our host upon arrival.

Fantastic place. Bigger than the pictures show. Excellent pool. Great place to visit Le Mans, Alencon, Fresnay Sur Sarthe as well as the local activities like Lake, Climbing, hiking and fishing. We had a fantastic time. English owners make the communication very convenient with my French language taking some time to get to a decent level. Very friendly people. Did not expected the dishwasher. Also the barbecue was very handy even that we did not use.

Comfortable accommodation with the ground floor with kitchen, living room and dining area. 2 comfortable bedrooms (but we were warm the first 2 nights since the outside temperature was 30°). For the two bathrooms, bathtub or shower, we are used to showerheads, but there is not. Comfortable accommodation. Neil was very responsive to a small key issue upon arrival. La Ferrière aux Etangs may seem remote, but we visited Lisieux on the road for our arrival, Fougères the next day then the spa of Bagnoles de l 'Orne, the Château de Falaise and its medieval festivals on Sundays before returning by the coast and Dives sur Mer and Houlgate. Very satisfied.

Great stay! Photos don't actually do home justice. Well-decorated rooms, spacious just like the rest of the rooms. Bathroom for each bedroom which is rare. The activities at our disposal (swimming pool, ping pong, billiards) allowed us to stay on site and avoid going on the road because we only stayed 2 days so it was perfect. We chatted with the housekeeper who is also very friendly. A big thank you to Dorn also for his responsiveness. Only downside: checkout at 10am but we understand given the surface to be cleaned.

What a beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. We had such a wonderful time staying here. Edward, our host, was very welcoming of us and our four dogs. The gite was perfect, had everything we needed and was clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful, we could cook, BBQ, eat indoors or enjoy eating outdoors. Edward had even provided some wine, cheese, butter, milk, bread, jam, juice, shower gel, shampoo etc. in fact everything to get us started and more. There were plenty of good quality towels to use too and we used the sofa bed in the living area for one night for a family member and the sheets were all provided and it was comfortable. The grounds are amazing and it is so peaceful. The perfect place to relax and unwind. I cannot recommend this place enough and if Edward will host us again then we will be back!

Axel was a great host. He made us feel welcome and happily explained the history and culture of the house and region. He took the trouble to make us feel at home despite ours being a very last minute booking. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
