We loved our stay on the Mount of Olives. The house was super clean and with all the amenities we needed. The accommodation is super private and you hardly feel the presence of the remaining guests except in the pool that is obviously shared. We were extremely welcome and would like to especially highlight and thank D.Nina who was always very helpful and ready to help with everything we needed. The only thing we have to point out was the weak internet connection, however as far as we understand this was being resolved on the day of our check-out. We'll definitely be back!

The homestead is truly an ex-libris from the Marvão region. Those who seek tranquility with all comfort and wrapped in the magic of the climate of the Serra do Alentejo, here you can enjoy an unparalleled peace. The house is super comfortable, well equipped and with all the requirements met to spend a few days with family or friends. The very spacious bedrooms all with well-equipped living room and kitchen, an unobstructed outdoor space with plenty of shade, and a generous pool always useful on hot days. All this in the middle of many fruit trees and with the mountains serving as a postcard. With regard to the hostess, Inês, was always very kind, worried that we would feel at home and always ready to help with any questions. Definitely an experience to repeat.

The house is extremely welcoming, super clean and with everything you need, with all the kitchen utensils, towels and hygiene products. filipe is a good host, very responsive and ready for any questions.

Had a lovely few days here. The home is super clean and very well equipped. Lots of fascinating photos and things in the house that tell of its history...its actually much nicer than the photos Located on the main square of a small Alentejo village, it is quiet and peaceful. The church bells mentioned by other posters didnt bother us at all. We were welcomed with a basket of gorgeous fresh eggs, tomatoes and peppers. The road to get to the house is very bumpy, but that's well described. Paul will be waiting for you half way up. The house is really beautiful, very comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful, quiet and peaceful. There are many beautiful places to visit in the area and it was coming back home every night. Unfortunately, we did not have a walk through the cork orchard and no winetasting. We'll go back for that, too. Very nice place!!!!!!

This is a hidden gem nestled in a vineyard with a nice vegetable and fruit garden. Beautiful mild scented roses lined the entrance way to our villa. There was a large beautiful pool and our place was very clean. If you want a quiet relaxing time away from noise, light and air pollution this is the place to unwind. We did many day trips to the neighbouring towns and was always happy to be back here. Margarida and her husband, Joaquim, were gracious hosts who allowed us to pick fruits and vegetables from their farm. We enjoyed two bottles of wine (red and white wine) from their own vineyard which was very nice. Great view! Rustic and so close to nature. Great for guests who want a retreat for contemplation and to have a fun time with their families.

Charming, beautiful home. It is located in small town, walking distance to a market and a few cafés. We loved the area as it has a lot to offer. There are towns with amazing restaurants in either direction 10 minutes drive away. We enjoyed the pool with the kids, though it is on the small side.

Comfort, cleanliness, tranquility and above all an ideal environment to disconnect from the world. Everything was very clean and there was no shortage of details.

Pedro and Maria's space is a real find! The place is quiet and super charming. We'll be back soon for sure. Everything is spotless and super clean. It should be called Mount Starlight because the night sky on the hill is beautiful.

The house is wonderful and the garden is even bigger than you can see in the photos. Our puppy loved it and was very happy. We loved it too. Wonderful.

Antonio's estate is located in a prime location, with amazing views. We could not enjoy it much because the weather did not accompany although we were able to throw some petanque games. The dogs loved all the space to throw some alleyways. Antonio is a very good host, he waited for us to guide us to the house, he left us a lot of firewood, charcoal for a barbecue (too bad we couldn't do it) and he quickly answered all the questions we raised during our stay. And he has put all the possible facilities to be able to recover a book that we left forgotten.

Great accommodation and peaceful. Relaxation guaranteed in this idyllic setting. Convenient and well thought out apartment. Host available and very good advice for visual and bucolic discoveries of the area. The area is indeed perfect for visiting castles, landscape, lakes and tasting the very good local dishes.

We enjoyed staying at the cottage which was warm and well equipped, the location was perfect for visiting Marvão and Castelo de vide. We pre ordered a meal for our arrival night which I highly recommend, the food and wine was delicious. Communication with the host was also very good, and the fresh daily bread was much appreciated.

Very quiet location, nice view of the valley. Sheep, goats, dogs, a horse and a lot of parakeets are the neighbors. Very rural, in the morning you can hear the roosters from the village, then the dogs, then the bells of the sheep and goats - very idyllic. The house is spacious, lovingly decorated and smells wonderful. The garden is very large, many seating options, the freestanding lounge is particularly beautiful. Many beautiful plants, everything very well maintained and everywhere solar-powered lamps and lights that spread a homely atmosphere in the evening. Much of the garden is dry grass/dust, but that's the case everywhere here after the summer and it doesn't bother. Lúcia and Carla (daughter) greeted us personally and were very nice. They also recommended the (only) village restaurant - we were there twice and it was really very good, cheap and warm. (You can watch great football with the locals!) Many attractions of Alentejo are nearby.

This place is just a wonderful oasis of peace and beauty. The antique house is 200 years old and belongs to the family ever since; the surrounding nature too beautiful to be true, the infinity pool was amazing even if for us in April, after 10 days of rain, unfortunately too cold. We had a wonderful stay and would like to sincerely thank Paul, our host. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, told us a lot about the house and the surroundings, and even showed the children different plants, which they loved. He was always available when we needed something, but never intrusive – just the perfect host. Thank you, Paul, for making our stay so special!

The house is great with all kinds of utensils and facilities for everyone and especially for children!! In addition, Iva is very attentive and always willing to help. A house to go back to and recommend!

Perfect location and accommodation for a short stay.

If you are looking for a unique experience, Extremadura is it, and this is definitely the place for you. The apartment was perfect and the property had everything to live a few days of disconnection. Carmen was super attentive to me and Mari and Francisco were super welcoming. Hopefully we can repeat this experience soon.

Ideal for rest! Not suitable for those who do not like animals, especially cats. Excellent for those who have children and want them to be in contact with nature.
