Hier haben wir uns das Ziel gesetzt die typischen Merkmale eines Bauernhauses, wie die kleinen Sprossenfenster und Deckenbalken, bestmöglichst in das Gesamtbild zu integrieren. Enjoy a stay in the former home of the painters Fritz and Hermine Overbeck in a modernly furnished 2-room apartment in a friendly and lively multi-generational house with its own terrace and garden access. The apartment is centrally located (shopping possibility, S-Bahn connection on foot) and at the same time in a green oasis in a scenic location (Schönebecker Aue, Bremer Schweiz). We invite every guest to visit the Overbeck Museum. Two secured bicycle parking spaces available.

Hof von Donnerschwee / Helene apartment

The Donnerschwee farm, first mentioned in 1937 and later built, is located in the northeast of the city of Oldenburg and was the first settlement house on the square. The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. The surroundings impress with their proximity to the Donnerschwee meadows and their beautiful cycling and walking paths. Nevertheless, everyday necessities are within a few minutes' walk or on foot.

The apartment is located in the center of Wilhelmshaven, so attractions, restaurants and the main train station with adjoining shopping arcade are within walking distance. The décor is stylish and modern and ensures an exceptional stay with the open living and kitchen area. It is located on the 2nd floor, which is why it is nice and bright. There is no elevator in the house but a private parking space right outside the front door.

The apartment is located in the attic of our house. This can only be reached via stairs on the fourth floor (no elevator) and you have a magnificent view over the roofs of Oldenburg. If you arrive by car, please let us know in advance, there is parking in front of the house. All public and private areas are non-smoking zones.
