The holiday home is a fantastic symbiosis of history and modernity! A several hundred year old house with romantic charm has been combined here with the amenities of today: underfloor heating, modern kitchen, dimmable light. Really great! In addition, the great location in the middle of the old town, very quiet and with a great park right outside the door. Everything was clean and super equipped. Even fresh tulips were at the table! In addition, Marina arranged a bike rental for us - a great service! We rarely had such a great vacation rental!

Beautiful, quiet location, large garden. Room nice and spacious, large, open kitchen. Everything very clean and cozy.

We spent a few days in the area to look at Hameln, the Externsteine and the Hermann Monument. The house is comfortably furnished and clean, it has everything you need. Beautiful large outdoor area for use, with grill and seating. Despite the location in the holiday park, it is a quiet location and relaxed atmosphere.

We were with 14 people in the Suffelmühle over Easter. We enjoyed the time together very much while cooking, eating, playing, walking. Great area with castles nearby. Very quiet and peaceful. Thank you, Inga, for the beautiful hostel!

Super nice house and nice quiet location to relax and come down! We felt right at home and were totally impressed by the accommodation. Restaurants, grocery stores, bakers and a small beach bar in the vicinity and total idyll. Many beautiful hiking routes from the property even without a car. The house was super equipped and totally well coordinated. Every corner of the house invited you to relax. Felix and Holger were friendly, uncomplicated and quickly accessible. We definitely recommend it! Not unlikely that we will come again:)

We had a very nice weekend among friends here. The house is cozy and very well equipped for cooking together. The rooms and beds were very clean and everything was in very good condition. We will be happy to come back.

Great place for larger groups on a weekend - everything there for cooking etc. Everything was clean. However, you should not expect great luxury.

Thanks to the detailed information about the apartment and the check-in, we had a great stay and were able to fully enjoy our time. Our host answered all our questions very quickly. The description and photos match and we didn't miss anything. The location was great - just a few steps from the rehab and about 5-10 minutes' walk to downtown. We were even greeted at Christmas time with a chocolate Santa Claus. If we visit Bad Essen again, we will definitely choose this apartment again!

We had booked a 4-day stay and wanted to celebrate Christmas with the family near the accommodation. But then everything changed. Thanks to Heike's flexibility and understanding, we were able to spend a relaxing time in the beautiful apartment (decorated with a lot of love, for every little detail). Overall a really perfect stay. The house was exactly as presented and hoped. Plenty of space, plenty of sleeping options, sauna, bathtub, great kitchen and and and... Sabrina also left the pool "open" so that we could take ice baths before and after each sauna session. Simply phenomenal and highly recommended. Note on the four star categories. Here I was extremely petty. The location is on a busy road and not in the countryside - it didn't bother us, but maybe you should know. The apartment was also super clean and tidy but of course you notice that people usually live in it. And that didn't bother us, but it's not a five-star hotel. As mentioned - I was now very petty, so I don't give out five stars everywhere! 😅 But overall highly recommended for six people!

We felt super comfortable in this beautiful, perfectly equipped apartment. The forest next door and at the same time the church square next door are perfectly within walking distance. Nele is very nice and gives helpful tips. We will be happy to come back!

Excellent accommodation in quiet and beautiful surroundings.

We stayed with Sabine for the second time. It was hassle-free again and everything was fine. A flexible check-in and great value for money complete the matter. We'll be back for sure 😊

They are very nice and welcoming people. The place is cozy and perfect if you want to escape the city for a bit. It’s peaceful, surrounded by nature, and has everything you need to relax. If you have an electric car, there’s even a charger available so you can charge at home, which was super convenient. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Lotte’s place is nice and clean. We stayed for two nights, which was a perfect stop along our travel route. We can recommend it if you're looking for a quiet place to stay within walking distance of the city centre.

My partner, our dog and I had a wonderful weekend in Horn-Bad-Meinberg. The place was exactly as advertised, we felt very comfortable and we didn't miss anything. Many attractions are not too far away. The quiet location of the accommodation was perfect to escape the ordinary, we were awakened in the morning by birds chirping, it was all perfect. Thank you ☺️

We had a great stay at Michael's "super cozy" place! The accommodation is furnished with a lot of love for detail, super equipped (kitchen, technology, light - everything great!) and simply invites you to feel good. Especially nice: the large terrace and the huge garden with barbecue! Despite the central location, you are completely undisturbed and have the whole cottage to yourself. Michael is a great host: helpful and responsive. I found the personal YouTube videos in advance very helpful and likeable. All in all, a really great place with character - we will be happy to come back!

We really enjoyed it! The kids were happy with the animals in the area :) In general, the apartment is super equipped. Even spices, oils, toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, and soap were not missing. In addition, towels and bed linen are sufficiently provided. We felt comfortable and would be happy to come back 😊
