Everything was as described. Everything was clean and the kitchen decor was especially good and generous - enough cups of plates pots etc. also for larger groups. For 8 people the property is perfect due to the room layout.

Very nice stay , beautifully located with many hiking opportunities. The house was fine, clean and spacious. With our group of 18 people, everyone had a spacious room and plenty of space. enough sanitary areas so that everyone has enough privacy. The common areas (kitchen and sitting area) were also spacious and equipped with everything needed. We had a lovely break. Despite the little snow, we were still able to ski for a few days (Feldberg is half an hour) and in addition, the area is fantastic for hiking. A trip to the swimming paradise in Titisee made the holiday complete.

Great place with beautiful surroundings! It's definitely worth the visit to Herrischried! Great Butcher shop and Edeka nearby. Recommended are the walks in the fields, the Scluchasee and the Black forest Line in Todnau, just 30 min by car.

We stayed 3 nights at Maison Gatsby as a family of 6. Yannick was the perfect host, very responsive before our arrival to messages, and took plenty of time to show us everything in the house. The house itself is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Yannick has clearly taken time and care to decorate the house and it is finished to an exceptionally high standard. Our departure was very straightforward and Yannick was very flexible with check out. We cannot recommend highly enough as a host, or Maison Gatsby as accommodation and our stay was excellent from start to finish! If we ever find ourselves travelling back to the area, we will definitely look at Maison Gatsby first!

The house is fantastic! It is tastefully decorated and fully equipped for a family of 7 people as was our case. You can see that everything is taken care of down to the details. The location is perfect for visiting many interesting sites around Basel, from the Le Corbusier chapel in Le Ronchamp to Zurich, Lucerne, the villages of Alsace and Strasbourg. It also has a supermarket and a pharmacy within a 5-minute walk and the area is super quiet, ideal for resting after a day of sightseeing. We definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to get to know this area!!!

We spent the Easter holidays as a family, 7 adults, in the Retreat Lodge Schürmatt. From the beginning, we were thrilled with the decor, location, and amenities. Everything, really everything, was available. Every day we cooked together and all the accessories were available and in very good condition. The view of the Swiss Alps, at different times of the day and weather conditions, is beautiful. The circling, calling kites in the air are a fascinating spectacle for the eyes and ears. The garden invites you to linger and enjoy. Whether sun or shade, there is a pretty place for everyone with matching garden furniture. In the house, too, everyone will find their favorite place to feel good, rest, read, play, enjoy. We all loved it. We'd love to come back. Thanks, Vinzenz!

We enjoyed the cottage there. Very well maintained. Quiet, beautiful surroundings. Tim is a very friendly man, we could go to him in case of problems. We will definitely go back there. Highly recommend!!!

Brand new beautiful house! A few minutes away from the Swiss and German border. Great value for the money.

We immediately felt comfortable in the villa, after the wow effect when entering. The contact with the host was also sympathetic and accommodating. Despite bad weather, you could use the pool and hot tub. The gym is superbly equipped - we were busy ^^ also a big shout out to the cleaners, everything was sparkling clean and the bedrooms were very nicely prepared.

Frank has certainly earned his super host designation! He answered questions before our stay, was very responsive and even offered us a late check out which made our departure much more relaxed. The house is wonderful, in a very peaceful setting next to the forest, but also close to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed all the amenities at the house, including a charming pool, ping-pong table, outdoor space for dining and lounging, and ability to cook and grill. Beds were comfortable and lighting great for reading. Absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a happy stay in the Schwarzwald!

But the problem with us was one person had become more at this evening and I forgot to report this to the host and was a bit sad but was also error from me and everything else was desired and we were all very satisfied

The château offered us everything for an enjoyable family reunion. In the large kitchen we were able to cook together, enjoy the aperitif in the salon and dinner in the large dining room. The garden and pool are very nice. The playroom was also well received by the youngest.

Amazing! We stayed for a week (April 2025) and the place was incredible. Exactly as advertised!! Great house, plenty of space and immaculately clean on arrival. Well stocked kitchen, fantastic pool and hot tub, and rapid responsive host. We loved everything about our stay, thank you. 5 stars plus!

We had a wonderful week in Jan and Tine's house. The location is fantastic with views towards the village and forests. There was snow and the sun was shining. Fairytale beautiful! It's within walking distance of shops, the train station and downtown. The house is more spacious in real life than in the photos. The house has all the comforts. We were 6 adults and had enough space not to sit on each other's lip. Questions were answered quickly and kindly by Jan and Tine.

very pleasant stay at Emmanuel's. the house is large, functional and perfect for our family of 8. It perfectly matches the description, except for the "2nd bathroom" which is only a toilet and shower, and not a real bathroom. the location is very quiet,and is ideal for visiting the area. Emmanuel gave us all the instructions we needed.

Thomas is a very friendly person and always available if necessary. Her home is beautiful and the pool in the garden is really ideal for children and pleasant in the summer. We highly recommend this listing!

We had a great time with the family thanks to a thoughtful host who recommended a great restaurant and arranged us well thanks to his crib! The accommodation is large, brand new it feels comfortable and the outside is a real plus! We recommend it without hesitation!
