The small art remise along the Weiltal and Weilstrasse in the Taunus is a small 55 square metre cottage on a former mill estate. Heated exclusively with wood, the shed invites you to linger in a cosy atmosphere or to explore the Weiltal or Lahntal by bike. On the property right next to the stream you can meet dogs, cats, chickens and even the occasional egg. Most recently, the remise was used as a studio, and now art objects by regional artists continue to enliven the space.

The house is over 500 years old, was completely newly renovated in 1994 sustainably and with style-appropriate materials yet also modern. It is a closed courtyard surrounded by old stone walls and lots of plants, great for children and animals. In our Klosterblick apartment, you not only have a unique view of the former Benedictine abbey, the monastery garden and our beautiful Einhardbasilika, you are also only a three-minute walk from our market square and Freihofplatz. There you will find bakers, butchers, boutiques and the most beautiful and romantic restaurants in the city. Here you can admire our beautiful old town with its traditional half-timbered houses.

You will occupy part of the house and use it for yourself alone. Living-dining area and kitchen are located on the first floor. As well as the bathroom with toilet and shower. On the 2nd floor you can use 2 cozy bedrooms. (Bed each 160 x 200 cm) On the 2nd floor is another bed (180 x 200 cm) The bus stop is just a 1-minute walk away and Frankfurt is about 30-40 minutes away. Parking is available at the house.

In 2018, we lovingly renovated and modernized the guest house, an old half-timbered house on our farm. In the countryside and only 30 km from Frankfurt, this is the perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy nature.
