Our newly built chalet is located on the outskirts of the village center of Grindelwald with a large garden and magnificent views. The apartment is south-facing surrounded by ideal infrastructure, away from the hustle and bustle but still very close to the action. Supermarket, bus stop, Firstbahn are just minutes from the house. We are so pleased that we picked this place which is peace and quiet. It is out of town and we had a car but if you are travelling on public transport it is no problem as the bus stop is right outside. The view was wonderful, a few Swiss houses dotted amongst the green fields was all that was between us and the Eiger rearing up behind. Heidi and her family were great hosts, always responsive and friendly. We were far happier staying here than we would have been right in the town. Great spot!

Eagle's Nest was the perfect home away from home during our five day trip to the Interlaken region. Cute, comfortable home with out of this world views and an incredibly well stocked kitchen. Dinners with views followed by stunning trail walks going from the front door. Easy access to public transportation, great host. Highly recommended!

Dieter and Sylvia’s apartment is incredible, more beautiful than pictured, on an aquamarine lake with views of snowcapped peaks, farmhouse-dotted mountains, and windsurfers whipping around like dragon flies. We would have happily sat on the patio all day. Or better yet, on the stone steps with our feet in the lake! When time came to go indoors, each room was tasteful and comfortable, with big windows and phenomenal views. The kitchen is well designed, equipped with everything you need. And the apartment was spotlessly clean. There is a ton to do in the area and the town of Flüelen is relaxed and easy. We hope to come back to experience it in winter! Dieter and Sylvia were very generous with their attention, making sure our needs were met in the apartment and pointing us in the direction of special activities outside. Their kindness and hospitality made a big impression on us. This is a magical place. Hands down, our best AirBnB ever.
