"De Gulle pracht" Holiday home, Friesland

Our cozy vacation cottage, originally was an old stable that we (Caroline and Jan) converted together, with lots of love and respect for the old details and materials, into this "Gulle Pracht". Through a private driveway with parking, you reach the terrace with the spacious garden, a lawn with surrounding tall trees, where you can enjoy. Through the two French doors, you step into the bright and cozy living room with the white old beams and a fully equipped open kitchen. There is wireless internet available, TV and DVD. Because of the ceiling in the living room that has been removed, beautiful light falls in from the skylights and you have a view of the roof structure with the old round hoods. The beds are located on top of the two lofts. The comfortable double bed is accessed by an open staircase. The other loft, where a third or fourth bed can possibly be made, is only accessible by flexible guests via a ladder. It is not suitable for small children because of the danger of falling, but older children find it exciting to sleep there. Please note, the two lofts share the same large open space. Under the old beams, you can sleep peacefully, where only the sound of rustling trees, whistling birds or your deliciously snoring bedmate will be heard. The room is heated by central heating, but also only the wood-fired stove can heat the cottage comfortably. You will be provided with enough wood from us to start a cozy fire. Through an old stable door in the living room, you come to the bathroom with beamed ceiling and underfloor heating. The bathroom has a good shower, double sink and toilet. With its inlaid mosaics and all kinds of funny and old details, this space is also a feast for the eyes. There are two bicycles available for nice trips in the wider area (Harlingen, Franeker Bolsward). We may want to drop you off in Harlingen for a crossing to Terschelling. You can leave the car in our yard for a while. We, ourselves, live in the farmhouse which is in the same yard. We are available for help, information and advice for fun trips in our beautiful Friesland. Your cottage and our farmhouse are separated by our garden and the big old barn (with pool table), so we both have our own space and privacy. Kimswerd, located on the eleven city route is a small, quiet and beautiful village where our Frisian hero "de Grutte Pier" was born and lived. He still watches over us, in petrified form, at the beginning of our little street, next to the centuries-old Church, which is very much worth visiting as well. You can do your shopping in Harlingen, the supermarket is a fifteen minute bike ride away. The old port of Harlingen is 10 km from our cottage. Kimswerd is located just across the Afsluitdijk. From there, follow the signs N31 Harlingen/Leeuwarden/Zurich and take the first exit at Kimswerd, 1st right at the traffic circle, 1st right again at the next traffic circle, straight ahead at the intersection, across the bridge and immediately take the first left (Jan Timmerstraat). At the beginning of this street, next to the church, stands the statue of the Grutte Pier. We live in the farmhouse behind the church, Jan Timmerstraat 6, first wide gravel path on the right. - For small children, sleeping on the loft without a fence is not advisable because of the danger of falling. It's just fun for big kids, the loft is accessible by a ladder. Please note, it is 1 large open space upstairs with no privacy.

Nice chalet on family campsite on Terschelling! Centrally located on the island and 1 km from the beach. The chalet is cozy and fully furnished: equipped with central heating, dishwasher, combi-microwave, 2p bed of 160x200 cm and two 1p beds of 80x200 cm. Outside, you can sit comfortably with views over the meadow. The chalet is non-smoking. At an additional cost, you can rent bath and kitchen linens and/or outsource the final cleaning. During the period from November 15 to March 15, the dog is allowed.

Ideal for a holiday or home office use. Entrance, bathroom and toilet on the ground floor. Close to supermarket, the city centre, Harlingen beach and Vlieland & Terschelling ferry terminal. There is paid parking available in the street or at Spoorstraat parking (150 m). Indoor parking for bicycles available upon request.

Welcome to our old farmhouse, part of which the former stable has been transformed into an attractive B&B. Specially decorated with lots of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have your own entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and YouTube. A FULL BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The B&B is separate and closed off from the main building. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one B&B room.

Buitenhuis, sustainable design chalet on Terschelling

Our love for nature is reflected in the design of this sustainable chalet. Yet you lack nothing; simplicity and comfort go hand in hand. Despite the limited space, it is wonderful to stay here, everything is available for a relaxing stay. The cottage has a lovely spacious terrace and lawn facing south. There is a nice seating area overlooking a fantastic outdoor fireplace with pizza oven! During school holidays, only available for weekly rental with arrival on Friday!

Apartment 't Schuuntsje

This unique apartment 't Schuuntsje has a style all its own. The 200-year-old farmhouse was completely renovated in 2022. Apartment 't Schuuntsje is located in the middle of the farm, with the entrance being the old Schuuntsje (the characteristic roof in Terschelling architectural style). The old stiel and bint construction has remained completely intact. This gives a beautiful rural atmosphere to the spacious 2-person apartment, which is equipped with all comforts!

The apartment is centrally located on Terschelling in the village of Baaiduinen. Both West Terschelling and Midsland are within cycling distance. The layout of the apartment is as follows: Downstairs is the living room with French doors to the south-facing garden. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub. In addition, downstairs there is a washing machine and a toilet. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with 2 x single beds with 2 x single duvets on them.

Pluk is a sustainable chalet for a wonderful stay on Terschelling with your family or friends. It has all the comforts and is stylishly decorated. Pluk is located in a small-scale green vacation park with a playground for children. Ideally located on the island. Beach, village and restaurants around the corner. The house can accommodate up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 4 children. We do not rent the house to groups/young people under the age of 23.

The Kleine Walvis is a completely sustainable and new vacation home and is a light and luxuriously furnished with all the comforts for a nice family vacation. Small-scale green vacation park with playground for children. Ideally located on the island. Beach, village and restaurants around the corner. The house can accommodate up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children. We do not rent the house to groups/young people under the age of 23.

The cottage is characterized by the light, the efficient layout and it has all the comforts. Think of the pizza oven outside, where you can light a delicious fire.
