We were happy in every way. And, of course, we're sad to leave this toe of tomatoes. It's in a magical place with a private, tidy garden. With nice neighbors. Our hosts Janine and Lino were quick to respond to all our questions and requests. They were courteous and thoughtful. We are truly grateful that they made our month-long stay, our honeymoon, unforgettable. If we ever spend time in the Azores again, there is no question where we stay. We had a pleasant stay at Liz’s house. We enjoyed the sunset and dining in the patio with views on Faial, Sao Jorge & the Pico mountain !

Great experience. Sandra communicated well all the details we needed and was very kind. The place was exactly what we needed in between overnight flights. It was very conveniently located by the airport.

Really nice and cosy place to use as a base while we explored Flores :) supermarkets close by and great great restaurant just up the road!! The place had everything we needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Antonio's place. The perfect mix of modern amenities and old farm style charm. We were spoilt with local specialities and felt warmly welcomed and right at home. We enjoyed staying in this small beautiful quiet village and explored the rest of the island from this special homebase. Just magical. Highly recommend it.

As older family members we couldn't be happier. Sven is a welcoming host and easy to approach. Nothing was out of his purview. The home is warm, clean and complete, but mostly the view is beyond expectations. The location is central to all on the island and we felt at home. Happy to stay in as well as explore. Sven's restaurant list was a plus as well as all things covered on his "list". I definitely expect to return and would hope to stay at Casa de Ilheu.

The pictures do not do this place justice. Absolutely stunning views !!! We also loved the walk to the tide pools. We stayed for a week with our four year old and parents, we had everything we needed. Antonio is so friendly and helpful, if we ever get to come back to Sao Miguel, we will stay here again ❤️❤️ Thank you for a wonderful time !!

Our vacation with Grandma and Grandpa was a great experience on the island of Pico and in the wonderful house of James. The house with pool was our favorite in the selection, so there is something for everyone. View, swimming area, pool, cozy retreats in the house and in front of it. It has everything you want. Only the weather cannot be influenced and therefore we still have an account to settle with Montana de Pico. That's why we'll come back and, if possible, definitely to James'.

The host Cristina was great. Very responsive to questions and requests. The house was amazing. Lots of room, great pool. I would recommend booking the house if you are going to stay in Sao Miguel. A anfitriã Cristina foi ótima. Muito responsivo a perguntas e solicitações. A casa era incrível. Muito espaço, ótima piscina. Eu recomendaria reservar a casa se você for ficar em São Miguel.

Very original accomodation and the hosts are super friendly and helpful. The glamping tent is lovely, the hottub and swimming pool are just amazing and the breakfast is nice. The hosts also helped us with recommending the best hikes. The place is very well accessible by car. And there's also a very adorable dog. I totally recommend this place!

Our stay at Soledade went wonderfully well. Soledade is a very kind and warm person. We were also pleasantly surprised by the place which is even better than in the photos. The home and pool are set in a small complex lined with trees and plants. This place is very airy and peaceful. In addition, we were very well located to visit the whole island and also close to a beautiful beach and good restaurants. We would highly recommend this listing.

We had exceptionally good time at the Paulo's place! Quite, surrounded by nature and traditional country-style living but with modern home and heated pool! Meticulously maintained and manicured private fruit garden was a big bonus and surprise. Thank you Paulo!

We arrived with two children (4 and 6 years old). The place was great for all of us. The garden is a dream - for the children with a slide and trampoline and to explore - for the adults to relax. The house is surrounded by greenery. It is equipped with everything you need. Romy and Ruth were always responsive, it's very familiar and the whole family was super helpful. The ideal resort for families with children. Thanks, Romy, Ruth and family for the wonderful time with you!

Modern home inside an traditional old house, near center of Santa Barbara. Great terrace views. Well equipped kitchen, parking place, good beds, what else does anybody needs? Nadja has everything well organized, great hospitality included.

Very simple but functional house. Beautiful views of the village and the sea, not really a garden but a terrace that surrounds the house. Luisa is very responsive and was able to provide us with a cot and high chair.

Our stay at Rosario's was only one night. The apartment looked a lot like a hotel room with a cozy balcony and a beautiful private bathroom. Rosario shared the instructions and address with us before our arrival. Great location in the heart of Horta's action. Lots of amenities walking distance. She kindly offered to keep our bags for the day if we needed it. The bed was so big! (: I recommend Rosario's apartment.

We had a fantastic stay here. The host was incredibly thoughtful, helpful, and communicative. The house is clean and spacious. The location is ideal, within close walking distance to the downtown area but also easy to drive to other locations on the island. Wholeheartedly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is comfortable, well-equipped and situated in a beautiful, quiet area of Santa Luzia. Pedro was very welcoming and provided helpful suggestions for things to explore on Pico.

What a beautiful, peaceful getaway. We absolutely loved our stay here. You could quite easily sit and watch the ocean from the terrace all day. Across our 3 night stay we saw a pod of common dolphins, and a pod of bottlenose dolphins. The nature was so captivating, from the sounds of the ocean, the many birds and the fishing boats passing by, we didn’t want to leave. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to stay.

We greatly enjoyed the accommodation and the associated garden. Fatima was extremely friendly and helpful. Upon arrival there were some tasty local food items ready. The location of the accommodation is nicely central!

We had a great stay at Aurelio's place on the island of Pico. The inside is very open & spacious and is well equipped as far as the kitchen goes. The setting, looking out on the ocean and across the way to the island of Sao Jorge is amazing, with views from the great outdoor deck and also the large wrap-around windows in the kitchen. The gardens surrounded the house really added to the beautiful setting as well. The provided bananas were quite good and a nice touch. Aurelio was very friendly and was very informative. He gave great perspective on Pico & the Azores more broadly. We would highly recommend staying at his place!
