Beach house vacation rentals in Azores

Manuela was there to greet us and show us around. She answered our questions and had local restaurant recommendations. ( Cais 20 was my favorites and within walking distance ) There also is another restaurant nearby Jardim do Mar, with a small play area for kids. The house was exactly as depicted and clean. The view of the water is amazing. This location is close to downtown and night life. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Quel agréable, magnifique maison typique du pays, pleine de charme, très bien aménagée et très bien équipée. Tout était absolument parfait. Le jardin est splendide, avec sa porte bleue au fond qui donne accès directement à la mer! Quelle Vue à couper le souffle! Le Paradis tout simplement ! Un grand Merci à Joana et José pour votre gentillesse et bel accueil dans votre petit "cocon açorien"! Voisins très sympathiques! Les piscines naturelles sont très proches à pieds! À recommander vivement !

Miguel is a very nice host and we loved staying at this little stone house on the coast of São Miguel near Nordeste. It it literally a little piece of paradise on Earth. The garden is really beautiful and we watched the sunrise almost every morning. It felt like waking up in „The Shire“ with its rolling green hills :) Communication with Miguel was super easy and he was very responsive and quick. He even welcomed us to his place in person and gave suggestions for activities and places to eat. We would certainly recommend staying at Miguel‘s place. It it the perfect home base for exploring the entire island. I would have loved to stay longer and would come back anytime! Highly recommended :)

We absolutely loved our stay here! Dina’s place is beautifully located, the setting is just stunning. Her home is so comfortable and welcoming, we would recommend it fully and would love to stay again sometime!

Le logement est moderne, propre et bien équipé. Du balcon de la chambre principale on peut voir et entendre les vagues débouler sur la plage avec comme toile de fond la partie ouest de l’ile. Helena est sympathique et répond rapidement. Nous avons passé un excellent moment!

Our experience was wonderful from the moment we arrived. We were so surprised that Eugenia greeted us with a pot of soup and fresh bread that helped make our first evening there much easier. The home has everything you need, a great kitchen and the sound of the waves to put you to sleep at night. The patio was absolutely amazing for watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Eugenia is an amazing host and stayed very accessible to us. Very responsive to questions and requests. We work when we travel so we asked if there was an extension cord available for us to be able to sit on the patio with our laptops. Rui, her husband, showed up within minutes with one for us to use. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Casa completa, amplia y limpia. Camas cómodas, y el exterior muy agradable. Está céntrica pero es muy tranquila. El coche lo puedes dejar a la puerta y puedes ir andando a comprar,. Nos encantó el detalle a nuestra llegada.

Die Persönlichkeit der GastgeberInnen tritt deutlich zu Tage, es ist den Azoren entsprechend eingerichtet, wertig und schön. Die Gastgeberin hat uns sogar mit einigen Leckereien von der Insel überrascht, sodass wir am nächsten Morgen mit einem tollen Frühstück in den Tag starten konnten. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Es war unglaublich sauber und die Ausstattung übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Die Lage ist optimal, direkt am Meer gelegen und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind schnell mit Auto erreichbar. Parkplätze sind direkt vor der Tür. Leider ist es sehr laut in den Schlafzimmern, da diese zur Hauptstraße ausgerichtet sind. Stand Ende Oktober: Bäckerei vor der Tür ist nicht mehr geöffnet.

Wir haben Ende Februar fünf tolle Tage in Marias Unterkunft verbracht und hatten eine schöne Zeit. Da es zu dieser Zeit auch etwas kühler (ca. 13°C) werden kann, war es super, dass dicke Decken und auch ein beweglicher Heizkörper vorhanden waren. Die Klimaanlagen können auch zum Heizen genutzt werden. Der Blick und der Garten sind unglaublich schön und Maria hat uns auch Feuerholz zu Verfügung gestellt. Die Kommunikation lief super.

A Truly Perfect Stay – More Than Just an Airbnb!
Our stay was absolutely perfect. It felt more like a hotel, but with all the warmth of a family home. The property is stunning, with a beautiful pool and breathtaking views the ideal spot to unwind. The hosts and staff were incredible. Marillia, one of the owners, took our children to milk cows and even baked cookies with them – such thoughtful, memorable experiences. Breakfast, prepared by Nelia and Martha, was fresh, delicious, and full of variety a highlight each morning. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and we felt at home from day one. We’re already planning our return to the Azores, and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thank you for your kindness and for making our stay so special!

Super logement. Ça change des airbnb pour 6 où vous avez 2 couteaux une chaise pour 6. Il a bien plus en commodités que ce qu'on peut espérer. Ludovic a pensé à tout. L'emplacement est magnifique, vue sur l'océan. Lagoa est en bas au centre donc facile d'aller à Ponta Delgada ou au Nord et à l'Est. Deux conseils pour votre sejour aux Açores, où que vous soyez. Ne vous fiez pas aux prévisions météo, le temps change souvent, surtout en hiver printemps. Regardez dehors pour planifier vos activités. Aussi, si vous avez un sommeil léger, apportez bouchons d'oreilles (ear plug) pour moins entendre les coqs qui aiment chanter à 3h00 du matin. Je vous recommande fortement ce logement si vous êtes 6... ou même moins .

Excellent stay at a gorgeous Air BnB. Pool was heated. Outdoor patio spaces were amazing. Great view to the ocean. Lots of nice touches with art, fully equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Kitchen had all the utensils and they had lots of things for babies and toddlers like stair guards, high chairs and pack and play. Walkable to waterfront and town square.

My family and I stayed for a week, they left and then friends joined me for a week - so 2 weeks in all. The pool was cool (it was january) but some did try. The hot tub was fabulous and was enjoyed by everyone. The house is spacious and perfectly clean and tidy with good supplies. The owners and the cleaning service were very helpful and responsive to any messages which was appreciated. The island is wonderful and we loved everywhere we visited.

Hugo's apartment was truly exceptional – one of the best I've ever stayed in! The place was beautifully furnished, fully equipped, and offered everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The sauna and pool were spotless and made for a truly relaxing experience. What made this stay even more special was the warmth and kindness of Hugo's parents. They were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. Their hospitality truly elevated the experience. If you're looking for a perfect getaway with top-notch amenities and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be. I would highly recommend it to anyone and would love to return in the future!

Our stay at Pedro’s place was beautiful, well equipped with everything we nedeed and perfectly clean. Veronica was easy to talk to, explain us everything and we felt more than welcome.

I've stayed in hundreds of airbnbs and this was definitely one of the best. Even though it was just two of us, there was plenty of room for much larger groups. The apartment is centrally located and less than a 10 minute walk to the town and the beach. We had no issues finding parking in front of the apartment. The wifi worked great (~136Mbps) for two digital nomads that needed to have reliable internet. Guido was very accommodating and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Ponta Delgada

We had a lovely stay at Dave's place. The village was welcoming, and we felt a part of the community for the short time we were in Pedreira. We especially enjoyed the views, the cats, and the nearby hikes. Dave offered helpful suggestions and tips, and even offered some cold drinks also. The hot tub was just perfect after hiking. We hope to return at some point.

We had a really lovely stay at Ricardo's place - the setting is absolutely gorgeous and the house is comfortable and filled with artistic and thoughtful touches. Ricardo is super friendly & helpful with recommendations - we hope to come back again sometime in the future!

Antonio’s place was perfect! He was a great host, quick to respond to any questions we had, allowed us to check in much earlier because of our 6:00am arrival to the island and offered to help us throughout our stay. The cleaning crew even changed out our towels three times during our week stay! The home is in a quiet location in Agua de Pau and a quick walk to the ocean. We would certainly stay here again!

Amazing host! He thought every single detail for the guest, we had everything we needed ( speaker, gift basket, chargers etc.) the house was super clean, the view is amazing and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Also Roberto and his brother Carlos are super nice. Overall, We would definitely come back here!

Great place to explore the island. Fairly modern building, with garage for parking our hire car. 5 mins walk down to the beach. Had recommendations for eating etc which were really useful.

Stunning location!! One of the most beautiful Airbnb’s I’ve stayed. Peaceful setting of the most beautiful ocean views. We had a great time exploring Pico and Faial. Thank you for your kind hospitality. We look forward to another visit to the beautiful Azores!
