We had a wonderful weekend! The house is beautiful, with a stunning view and a peaceful atmosphere. Everything is compact, stylish, and well thought out. It’s perfect for four people, but even with six of us, it was comfortable enough for a weekend. The rooftop pool is amazing, and the outdoor grill area is great. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the whole place felt cozy and welcoming. Huge thanks to Ricardo for being such a kind and responsive host — we truly appreciated it!

The first time I saw this house I fell in love soon, besides being spacious, since we were a family of 7, it was very welcoming and loaded with history. We are very comfortable , the place is calm, ideal for resting next to nature. The house is ideal for children , has ping pong table, games and toys. The house is very well equipped and has everything needed for a pleasant stay. Maria was always very attentive and responsive. It was a pleasure to stay in this family house and I hope one day to return.

Very welcoming place of small gifts upon arrival very attentive always listening to us always someone to come and see if everything was fine if we were not missing in bringing us perfect wood every day, I warmly recommend to Antonio and Sara, and thank you again for all these little touches. We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

We had a wonderful stay! The place is quiet, cozy, and beautifully kept — perfect for relaxing after a long day. I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful, offering delicious homemade treats that made my stay even more special. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. I would definitely love to come back!

Maria’s apartment was charming and well-equipped and beautifully situated in the center of town—but slightly removed from the noise and hustle. She was a very gracious host and we were very glad we stayed there.

Amélia was a super obliging hostess. She gave us a warm welcome with a little surprise and fresh local spices, fruit and vegetables. The house was even more beautiful than in the pictures. Everything was clean and tidy and there was plenty of equipment in the kitchen for cooking. There is a cat that sometimes comes to visit (outside). Thank you for letting us stay here. Really a nice place to explore the area.

Beautiful setting

We felt very comfortable in the Carregado house. It was all exactly as described and communication was very straightforward. The owners always responded very quickly and kindly. We will definitely be back

We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday with the family in the nice quinta of Konrad which is situated in a quiet and beautiful area in the Portuguese countryside. The owner lives near the villa and is very discreet and ready to help.

Wonderful vacations We are a family of ten and we have spent 14 fantastic days in august 2024 at Joao’s family house at Salvaterra de Magos. The house is very big ( as presented in the pictures), very calm., very confortable (including excellent mattresses ) , very clean and with breathtaking views of fields mountains and birds. It is so well oriented that we did not suffer at any moment of heat . Almost no need to use the air conditioner The kitchen is big , functional and fully equipped with all necessary stuff The pool and gardens are wonderful and very well maintained as in the pictures It is close to all facilities and supermarkets and with very easy access for excursions on the Tajo river and to Lisbon area . The only inconvenient for us were the mosquitoes at the sunset . We would like to thank Joao for letting us sharing his wonderful family house , for his kindness and politeness and allowing us to have these wonderful vacations !!
