We had a wonderful weekend! The house is beautiful, with a stunning view and a peaceful atmosphere. Everything is compact, stylish, and well thought out. It’s perfect for four people, but even with six of us, it was comfortable enough for a weekend. The rooftop pool is amazing, and the outdoor grill area is great. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the whole place felt cozy and welcoming. Huge thanks to Ricardo for being such a kind and responsive host — we truly appreciated it!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cette maison. Maria était très sympathique et disponible. Elle a été très arrangeante pour notre arrivée. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la terrasse avec vue sur les vignes et montagnes. Encore merci pour ce séjour.

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

We had a wonderful stay! The place is quiet, cozy, and beautifully kept — perfect for relaxing after a long day. I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful, offering delicious homemade treats that made my stay even more special. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. I would definitely love to come back!

Maria’s apartment was charming and well-equipped and beautifully situated in the center of town—but slightly removed from the noise and hustle. She was a very gracious host and we were very glad we stayed there.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Das Haus war genau so, wie man sich ein Häuschen in den Bergen vorstellt, mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, charmantem alten Flair und wunderschönen Pflanzen rundherum. Die Küche war hervorragend ausgestattet, da hat wirklich nichts gefehlt. Auch die kleine Aufmerksamkeit mit Wein, Sardinen und Brot war sehr nett (auch wenn wir das Brot wegen einer Glutenunverträglichkeit leider nicht probieren konnten). Der Pool war ebenfalls toll. Ruhig gelegen und gut gepflegt. Antje hat uns vorab alles super erklärt, der Check-in lief problemlos. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort Urlaub machen. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Güzel ortam

Wir haben uns im Carregado Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles genau wie beschrieben und die Kommunikation war sehr unkompliziert. Die Inhaber haben immer sehr schnell und freundlich geantwortet. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

Es war super, wir waren eine Woche dort und haben einen Ausflug nach lissabon gemacht und sonst die Ruhe, den Pool und die Gegend genossen. Tolles Obst und Gemüse gab es noch als Gastgeschenk aus dem eigenen Garten. Die Pferde waren auch direkt unsere Freunde.

Amazing accommodation, perfect for a holiday far from the city centre. The host is very reactive and disponible. We had a perfect stay, we can't wait to do it again. Highly recommend for peaceful vacations.

Wonderful vacations We are a family of ten and we have spent 14 fantastic days in august 2024 at Joao’s family house at Salvaterra de Magos. The house is very big ( as presented in the pictures), very calm., very confortable (including excellent mattresses ) , very clean and with breathtaking views of fields mountains and birds. It is so well oriented that we did not suffer at any moment of heat . Almost no need to use the air conditioner The kitchen is big , functional and fully equipped with all necessary stuff The pool and gardens are wonderful and very well maintained as in the pictures It is close to all facilities and supermarkets and with very easy access for excursions on the Tajo river and to Lisbon area . The only inconvenient for us were the mosquitoes at the sunset . We would like to thank Joao for letting us sharing his wonderful family house , for his kindness and politeness and allowing us to have these wonderful vacations !!

Adoramos a estadia, super calmo e uma paisagem linda. Recomendo 100%. Iremos voltar sem dúvida. A Sra Ana foi super simpática e agradeço toda a disponibilidade.

A nossa estadia de trabalho em Santarém foi bastante produtiva e agradável. A casa que alugámos revelou-se uma excelente escolha: bem localizada, espaçosa e com todas as comodidades necessárias para o nosso dia a dia e para os momentos de descanso após as longas horas de trabalho. No entanto, relativamente à limpeza, notámos que havia um odor nos quartos, possivelmente devido às madeiras ou ao facto de a casa ter estado fechada durante algum tempo. Este odor era um pouco incomodativo, mas não comprometeu de forma significativa a nossa experiência. Fora isso, a cozinha, equipada com tudo o que precisávamos, foi essencial para preparar algumas refeições em grupo, o que também ajudou a fortalecer o espírito de equipa. No geral, foi uma experiência positiva. Com uma pequena atenção à ventilação dos espaços antes de futuras estadias, consideraremos certamente este local para novos projetos na região.
