Our stay at Awaroa Bach was unforgettable. Elva and Geoff were incredibly welcoming and generous with their time, offering local insight that helped us make the most of our visit. The bach is peaceful, well-appointed, and perfectly located with easy access to the estuary and nearby water taxi stops. We loved the spacious bedroom, outdoor kitchen with BBQ, and thoughtful touches like fresh herbs from Elva’s garden. A highlight was kayaking at high tide and spotting manta rays—truly magical. On our last night, we shared dinner with Elva, Geoff, and some neighbors, which made us feel genuinely at home. Highly recommended.

Our 2nd visit to Toto's and we'll visit again. Awesome location and views, amazing night sky, friendly wekas. Very cozy accommodation. Lots of things to do in the area. Just a great spot to reconnect with nature.

Great spot 100m walk to the beach. Just down the road from the boat ramp. Had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Super easy communication and instructions.
