House vacation rentals in Avon

We (family of five) had a wonderful week in Blandy at July's house. July's parents met us on arrival and although our French is very poor they were very helpful and introduced us to the house. Through the week July was always quick to respond and kind in helping us with any questions. The house is a lovely home, beautifully designed and with lots for all the family to do. Our children particularly enjoyed using the bicycles, playing pool and relaxing in the hammocks and garden. Blandy is a very quiet and pretty village and we had a fantastic meal eating at the restaurant L'entourloupe adjacent to the tower. There is also a great takeaway pizzeria in the village, a small shop, another restaurant and a boulangerie. We found lots to do in the area including a day in Paris using the fast train from Melun (free parking at the municipal swimming pool), a day at Fontainebleu, and a picnic down at the banks of the Seine. We would happily recommend July's home to others.

The house is very beautiful, even more beautiful than the photos, located in the residency area with beautiful houses, very clean, private, and have complete amenities, we can find everything we needed. It's way more than we expected. Thanks, Jordan :)

Lovely house, really good amenities. Shame it wasn’t warm enough for the pool to be open as then it would have been perfect! Thoroughly stocked kitchen, very clean and well presented. Lovely area, very close to both the forest and the village centre which had some lovely little shops. My six year old particularly loved the watching the robot lawn mower!! Great to have so many activities to do in the house and we loved playing table tennis and basketball. Definitely will be visiting Barbizon again!

We had a wonderful stay at this house! The outdoor area with the garden was ideal for relaxing, and the kids had fun in the games room. The barbecue was a real plus for our family evenings. The house is spacious, well-equipped and perfectly suited for a family vacation. The host was very welcoming and took care to provide us with all the information we needed to fully enjoy our stay. We highly recommend this place for a holiday with peace of mind!

We had a great weekend with the family at Hélène's house. The house is warm and the village of Bourron-Marlotte is very pretty. Our host made check-in easy and communication was impeccable. Recommended.

Very nice place. The area is good, Manuel is nice even he can not speak English but we have no problem to understand. All is very convenient and we have a good sleep.

Beautiful house and perfect for a large group trip. We loved staying here and there was plenty of space for a group of 14 adults on a climbing holiday. Great location, walking distance from the forest and the bakery!! Thank you, we hope to return

This is a beautiful place, it’s very well designed and uses the compact space very well. In a gated courtyard it is very calming and quiet. The owners gave very good clear instructions and were attentive in all comms.

Great place to stay for climbing in the Fontainebleau forest. It's only about 10-15 minutes drive from the main climbing areas. Big house, plenty of space for the family to spread out into, comfortable beds and sofa, toys for younger children and garden to play in. We got the train to Paris for one day: the station is walking distance, trains every 20 mins and just over 1 hour journey to central Paris. The pizza place at the end of the road is great, there's a bakery, a little shop, a pharmacy, a play area and basketball/football courts all near the station. Demy was really helpful all the way through our stay.

Great house in a quiet location. Perfect for a stay with a large group. The house, especially the kitchen, was very well equipped. Communication with the host was excellent. They were always available and very flexible. Definitely recommended!

I am not at my first booking with Beatrice and always a pleasure to be received this way! Beatrice is very welcoming and very flexible, access is extremely clear and easy! So we felt incredibly comfortable in Ellejmi's house. There was everything you needed. A large house with many rooms and a beautiful garden. Well located for excursions to Paris or the surrounding area. We are absolutely satisfied everything was exactly as described. We will be happy to come back. We had an excellent week with friends. The family home has all the assets so that everyone has a good time at all ages, bowling alley, pool, games room....! Kitchen very well equipped for those who wish to enjoy it. Depending on the attention, the proximity of the highway could in general. We'll be happy to go back!

Perfect for a New Year's Eve with others and family. The house is very spacious with a very nice and bright living room with direct access to the garden. The kitchen is great for preparing meals and at the same time starting an aperitif The rooms are numerous and spacious (only small downside for the room which is on the top floor, you have to like the cool atmospheres😊..the heater did not heat enough). Jérémy was very accessible beforehand (he made it easy for us to have 2 additional individual mattresses) and during the stay by responding to all our small requests. I would recommend it without a second thought!

We spent two nights at Guillaume's with friends for my birthday. Both houses are very nice and comfortable. Everything is done to make you feel at home. The kitchens are very well equipped, the decor is neat, there is a large fireplace in each house. The bedding is extremely comfortable and the cleanliness of the premises is impeccable. We received a very warm welcome from Sophie who provided us with all the necessary explanations. I highly recommend for a stay with family or friends.
