In the heart of the Baugeois, in the small village of Guédeniau, close to Baugé 7 km away, its castle, shops, markets (Saturday and Monday), local producers (foie gras, poultry, cheese), a pond 2 steps from the cottage for your fishing activities, petanque and children's playground. 3 km away, the state forest of Chandelais and the Carrefour du Roi René. The banks of the Loire, Saumur, cellars and zoos within 30 minutes. The gîte offers you a peaceful stay close to many tourist attractions.

In the grounds of a 15th century château - featured in a number of home & interior magazines - this beautifully converted, spacious, former stables is set in glorious gardens with views over our 10-acre truffle orchard. Full of character and charm, thick local limestone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining. Cottage La Rive du Loir 3km from Zoo de la Flèche

The Gîte "La Rive du Loir" is private (open in 2025), also private swimming pool and not overlooked. Since March 15, 2026, a 4th bedroom is open 10 m from the cottage with its shower, wall-hung toilet, TV... The capacity of the accommodation is therefore 11 people (including 2 with the convertible sofa in the living room). For 2026: Heated swimming pool from March 27 to November 1. Same date for 2027. It is heated to 29°. Gîte overlooking Le Loir located 2.5km from La Flèche Zoo.

A hidden gem in the Loire Valley

Come and relax in this quiet house, tucked away in a small village halfway between Angers and Tours, close to the Baugé Golf Course, castles and tourist sites (Le Lude and the Flèche zoo are around twenty minutes away). Old and full of charm, our holiday home will comfortably accommodate you with 10 or (even 12 with the sofa bed in the office area) friends or family. In the evening, an aperitif is taken in front of the fireplace or outside, facing the 11th century church.
