The Beached Van has come to rest in a private space amongst the Moonah trees at the back of our coastal landscaped garden. From your off street parking space a path leads to the renovated 1970’s caravan with all the creature comforts. The van has a queen bed, lounge area and kitchenette and a relaxed, coastal style. It is sheltered under a veranda with a deck area for lounging, a patio heater and BBQ. Stairs through the garden lead to the luxurious bathroom with floor heating and a big bath tub.

The Viscount Royal Caravan 1974 is a huge (9 metre) & has been rejuvenated. Modern but with a fab 70’s atmosphere. It sits under a huge shed with carport, deck & overlooks farmland & bush. It is 50 metres from our old house. Daylesford is 7 minutes away with excellent cafes, restaurants, shops & well-being indulgences. Wineries & galleries are plentiful within a small radius. The “Swiss Mountain Hotel”, our local, has good food, a nice atmosphere & is only 5 minutes to the west in Blampied.

Our Easter escape to this charming farm stay was pure magic, as it always is! What keeps me coming back is the perfect combination of being close to home while feeling completely "off the grid." I absolutely adore waking up to horses in the paddock right outside our accommodation, and feeding them the carrots provided by the thoughtful owners creates moments I treasure every time. The tranquility is unmatched - no traffic noise, just the soothing sounds of nature and beautiful wildlife all around. Despite returning multiple times, the magic hasn't diminished one bit; if anything, each visit deepens my appreciation for this special place where I can reset and reconnect with nature. It remains my favorite peaceful retreat, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

What a beautiful place to spend our last night after doing our lap of Tasmania! Just wish we had more time here and hope to be back! We were greeted with a warm welcome from Sue & Morrie who we really enjoyed chatting to. The place itself was so clean and well appointed with a super comfy bed, from which you can watch the sun rise. The views over the Tamar River were amazing and such a lovely garden setting. Thank you both for your hospitality and a lovely stay xx

The place is very charming and the walk to the river is very short and once you’re there, there’s just a stunning natural beauty. You can really relax. The camper of course is small but very well organized clean and new. And you sleep like a baby because it’s so fresh air from the field all night long. The shower is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you might need. AbsolutelyAbsolutely recommend for a relaxing weekend.

We stayed in Ruth’s van for Gather Round. It’s in a quiet residential street about 10mins drive from Norwood Oval, where we parked for the game and then walked into the city for other activities. Van had everything we needed, including great water pressure in the shower, aircon and TV, wifi etc. Ruth was friendly and helpful - would definitely stay again.

Cosy Caravan was exactly as described. We took it to the local caravan park and it was -3° overnight but with the heating I was snug as bug a rug. Having the shower was convenient, and the facilities at the discovery Caravan Park were awesome when I wanted that super long shower after a full day of skiing. Luke is also the local Uber driver and that made the trip incredibly worthwhile so we could enjoy a few drinks in town after dinner. The van was very easy to tow, was super comfortable, just don’t forget to pack a towel, like I did 😩😛. I would definitely book the Cosy Caravan again.
