Family-friendly vacation rentals in Aurskog-Høland Municipality

Riikka has a lovely house by the fjord in Oslo. We stayed for a week and celebrated Christmas there. Riikka is a great host, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Riikka's tennant, who lives in the adjoining apartment upstairs, is also very nice. His dog, Gin, also made us feel very welcome! Views over Oslofjorden. Huge dining room. Fantastic kitchen, ideal for whipping-up a feast. Grand, old fireplace. West-facing balcony with sweeping water views. Perfect for a family gathering!

We had a great family time in the cabin: playing volleyball, games, swimming, jogging, walking the the forest, bbq & jacuzzi, peaceful moments reading books, evening movie sessions on the projector. Wow! The place is amazing in the middle of nature. The cabine is great for a big (or small) family: clean, light everywhere, beautiful view from the inside. Michael is a super host, always active and helpful. We recommend 100%!

Sinsen er sentralt og meget gunstig utgangspunkt for utflukter i hele Oslo området. Det er kort vei til buss og metro. Huset er koseligt med fine rom, koseligt kjøkken og stue. Det er en fantastisk skjermet hage på utsiden som innbyr til å sitte ute. Vi er veldig fornøyd med oppholdet. Verten var veldig enkel å kommunisere med, og svarte raskt på henvendelser. Vi anbefaler plassen!

Nydelig sted som virkelig gir en smak av livet på en husmannsplass. Veldig fredelig og flott turterreng. Jan som vert, gav oss en flott introduksjon til plassen og historien. Anbefales sterkt

Nydelig hytte med alt en kan ønske seg. Perfekt for oss som hadde med oss 2 barn! Her trivdes små og store så mye at vi vil nok komme til å booke denne plassen for lengre periode en annen gang! Ett stort pluss for oss var at det var bade muligheter rett utenfor verandadøra.

We had a great time at this lovely hytte! The hot tub is a real treat and makes a big difference having an element of luxury in a countryside setting. Wonderful hosts and very responsive! The ideal getaway, and so close to Oslo. We'll be back!

Marte's place was beautiful--I personally really loved her decorative taste (and learned that I love Elsa Beskow and Alphonse Mucha). Aside from that, it was very clean and she communicated with us in advance about some construction that was going on at the property, which turned out to be fine for us. The neighborhood was quiet with some great restaurants and very easy access by bus from the city center. There was an outer door to the complex that got stuck at one point and Marte was very helpful and proactive in getting help for my husband to get back in. Overall she seemed laid-back, friendly, and cheerful. I highly recommend staying with this fantastic host. Thank you so much.

Such a beautiful place to stay. Quirky, well stocked, really close by to the bus stop into central Oslo, and a supermarket. Tomas was so helpful with all my questions, responded quickly, and was always friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We had a great stay at Hildes place. The cabin was the perfect getaway location: quiet, beautiful and very close to the train station to Oslo. When it was sunny, we enjoyed the seating outside. The cabin had everything we needed. Hilde was very proactive in her communication. Jakob even brought us some extra firewood for the fireplace.

Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold og kan anbefale et besøk. Sjarmerende gård i grønne og vakre omgivelser, stille og fredelig. Rustikk og hyggelig stil inne, vi følte oss hjemme med en gang 😊.

Georgio er en utrolig god vert , ekstremt behjelpelig og fleksibel. Veldig hyggelig og praktisk beliggenhet for kollektiv transport og butikker. Koselig opphold, Anbefaler på det sterkeste!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'appartement de Liv : propre, spacieux, bien agencé, avec une déco agréable. Les transports (métro, tramway et bus) sont à proximité de celui-ci. C est très pratique pour découvrir les différents quartiers d Oslo.

Meget fornøyd med både leiligheten og verten. Meget sentralt. kort avstand for flere bussadganger. Butikk 20 meter fra ytterdøra. Leiligheten hadde alt vi trengte de 10 dagene vi var der. verten svarte på veldig kort tid,og var meget hjelpsom og hyggelig. Tydelig instruksjoner gjør at ankomst forenkles veldig. Rolig strøk med lite støy. Anbefaler virkelig denne leiligheten. Herfra kommer du deg raskt dit du skal innen 15 minutter. Leier gjerne igjen.

excellent appartement, non loin de l'aéroport, a à peine plus de 30 min de Oslo en bus. avec une forêt et un lac magnifique non loin. l'appartement est propre, paisible, agréable pour toute la famille.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, très bien accueillis pas Kåre et Janne qui étaient aux petits soins avec nous. Très accueillants, flexibles et disponibles tout au long du séjour. Merci pour tout !

Vi tok påskeferien i dette flotte huset på Ammerud, og hadde det heilt topp! Det var lett å finne fram og huset var akkurat som skildra: romsleg, ryddig, moderne og kjempestilig. Kort veg til kollektivtransport og butikkar. Vi kjem gjerne attende!

Beautiful apartment in a really quiet neighbourhood with amazing views of the city and amazing transport links to tram and metro trains. Would definitely recommend for anyone taking a trip to Oslo.

It is a indeed a very beautiful and very spacious house. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a big kitchen and a huge dining-living room + a nice garden/terrasse. The house is very nicely decorated with lots of style. At the same time it is super functional and well-equipped. The location it self is very nice and calm. However, it was a bit more distant from Oslo city center than expected. That means, it takes about 20 minutes by car to the city center, however, both parking and road taxes are quite expensive in the city center. By public transport it takes about an hour to get to the city center, which is longer than we had hoped. But overall we can only highly recommend this beautiful place and recommend Eli as a very nice and welcoming host.

I could not recommend Thor Bjarne’s place more highly! He was helpful, clear instructions, came by to make sure my checkin went well. Lovely to deal with. The place was well located for me and a very comfortable and well appointed apartment. I felt at home immediately. I enjoyed the outdoor space very much, it has a great view of the city. I will be happy to stay here again. The neighbourhood is beautiful with old buildings and is close to a park. The elevator was a plus for getting luggage up to the apartment. Looking forward to coming back already!
