Riikka has a lovely house by the fjord in Oslo. We stayed for a week and celebrated Christmas there. Riikka is a great host, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Riikka's tennant, who lives in the adjoining apartment upstairs, is also very nice. His dog, Gin, also made us feel very welcome! Views over Oslofjorden. Huge dining room. Fantastic kitchen, ideal for whipping-up a feast. Grand, old fireplace. West-facing balcony with sweeping water views. Perfect for a family gathering!

The location is quite incredible if you are looking for peace, nature and space...🌲🌳🌲 Our accommodation for 8, was about 400 meters on foot but a small trolley made it possible to transport bulky luggage (2 large suitcases). the jacuzzi was nice, the terrace, kitchen and everything you need was there. Bonus: the overhead projector and its screen😎 A big thank you to our host who has always been responsive and friendly. Sinsen is central and very favorable as a starting point for excursions throughout the Oslo area. There is a short distance to the bus and metro. The house is cozy with nice rooms, cozy kitchen and living room living room. There is an amazing sheltered garden on the outside that invites you to sit in the outdoors. We are very pleased with our stay. The host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to inquiries. We recommend the place!

Lovely place that really gives a taste of life in a homestead. Very peaceful and great hiking terrain. Jan as a host, gave us a great introduction to the space and history. Highly recommended

Lovely cabin with everything you could want. Perfect for us who brought 2 children! Here, young and old thrived so much that we will probably book this place for a longer period another time! One big plus for us was that there were swimming opportunities right outside the porch door.

We had a great time at this lovely hytte! The hot tub is a real treat and makes a big difference having an element of luxury in a countryside setting. Wonderful hosts and very responsive! The ideal getaway, and so close to Oslo. We'll be back!

Marte's place was beautiful--I personally really loved her decorative taste (and learned that I love Elsa Beskow and Alphonse Mucha). Aside from that, it was very clean and she communicated with us in advance about some construction that was going on at the property, which turned out to be fine for us. The neighborhood was quiet with some great restaurants and very easy access by bus from the city center. There was an outer door to the complex that got stuck at one point and Marte was very helpful and proactive in getting help for my husband to get back in. Overall she seemed laid-back, friendly, and cheerful. I highly recommend staying with this fantastic host. Thank you so much.

Thea is adorable and very responsive to messages. The apartment is in a very good location, easy to access to downtown Oslo. I recommend it.

Such a beautiful place to stay. Quirky, well stocked, really close by to the bus stop into central Oslo, and a supermarket. Tomas was so helpful with all my questions, responded quickly, and was always friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We had a great stay at Hildes place. The cabin was the perfect getaway location: quiet, beautiful and very close to the train station to Oslo. When it was sunny, we enjoyed the seating outside. The cabin had everything we needed. Hilde was very proactive in her communication. Jakob even brought us some extra firewood for the fireplace.

Thank you again for hosting us and your accommodation. It was really perfect. Glad we were able to find a cool drink on arrival, with the heat, it was very nice as a touch. Thanks for your attention to our 5-month-old too (bed and small toy that she loved). We highly recommend your listing.

We had the Easter holidays in this great house at Ammerud, and had a great time! It was easy to find and the house was exactly as depicted: spacious, tidy, modern and super stylish. Short distance to public transport and shops. We are happy to come!

Beautiful apartment in a really quiet neighbourhood with amazing views of the city and amazing transport links to tram and metro trains. Would definitely recommend for anyone taking a trip to Oslo.

It is a indeed a very beautiful and very spacious house. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a big kitchen and a huge dining-living room + a nice garden/terrasse. The house is very nicely decorated with lots of style. At the same time it is super functional and well-equipped. The location it self is very nice and calm. However, it was a bit more distant from Oslo city center than expected. That means, it takes about 20 minutes by car to the city center, however, both parking and road taxes are quite expensive in the city center. By public transport it takes about an hour to get to the city center, which is longer than we had hoped. But overall we can only highly recommend this beautiful place and recommend Eli as a very nice and welcoming host.

Oddbjørn’s house is incredible. With a beautiful location right on the water and tons of space in the house it feels like a vacation the moment you step inside or out onto the deck. There are so many amenities, the kitchen is huge, the sauna is a fantastic addition. This space is perfect for large groups or a family looking to get away for the weekend. With kayaks, canoes, and a rowboat you can explore a serene lake and really enjoy the surroundings. Enjoy a great week in Norway at this spectacular house!!

I could not recommend Thor Bjarne’s place more highly! He was helpful, clear instructions, came by to make sure my checkin went well. Lovely to deal with. The place was well located for me and a very comfortable and well appointed apartment. I felt at home immediately. I enjoyed the outdoor space very much, it has a great view of the city. I will be happy to stay here again. The neighbourhood is beautiful with old buildings and is close to a park. The elevator was a plus for getting luggage up to the apartment. Looking forward to coming back already!
