Farmstay vacation rentals in Augusta County

We had a really nice stay at the farmhouse! It was very charming and had everything we needed. Close to a lot of wineries and breweries. It was right off a main road which I wasn’t expecting but the traffic noise was minimal inside and the views out the back were beautiful.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Alison’s house and really enjoyed our time here. Beds are comfy, house is spotless, kitchen was very well stocked with cooking supplies and dishes and pantry essentials. I enjoyed sitting on both the front and back porch and reading, listening to the wind chimes and watching the cows munch grass. Alison has selected beautiful art, dried flower wreaths, antique furniture and cozy rugs etc to fill the house and it all feels special and not generic like so many Airbnb’s can feel. You can tell this is a beloved family home. Alison was very responsive and tried to help me troubleshoot issues with the wifi which was so appreciated. We ended up enjoying our time “off the grid”. Thanks Alison, hope to return someday!!

The Inn was the best place to prepare for and stay during our daughter’s wedding weekend. We had everything we needed; the house was beautiful and clean; the beds were comfy. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and around the fire after the festivities. We received 20% off the brewery restaurant and the food was extremely tasty. We highly recommend the Inn!

Second time staying here absolutely loved it AGAIN! Great host’s and quick responses! Very helpful with problem solving. Would highly recommend again. Definitely coming back soon 😁

This place was an absolute peaceful getaway! Being out in the country, but within drivable distance to food and experiences was perfect. The farm animals are an added bonus, along with the view! Everything was clean and orderly, yet simple and relaxing. Added simple touches of extra blankets and bath supplies was nice. This was one of our top stays! Definitely recommend and will hopefully be able to come back again!

The Galleywinter farm offered an experience we will never forget. Overall, the accommodations were comfortable with the surrounding farm peaceful and serene.

This place was beautiful, quiet, clean and had so many extra amenities. The heated pool was great, even on the rainy days! We enjoyed the HBO Max on multiple TVs in the house and even on the porch! The creek was great too for the kids to explore. We were glad we had saved the check in key code ahead of time, as we had no reception until on the cabin’s wifi. Brandon was VERY responsive when we had questions. We definitely hope we are able to stay at the cabin again! Just wish we didn’t have to leave!!

Sugah Shack is a sweet spot for base camp as we hiked in Shenandoah National Park. It was very clean, beautifully decorated and the best-equipped place we’ve stayed in. Communication with Carolyn was quick and easy. We enjoyed watching the family of deer who showed up each evening too! We would definitely consider staying here again! Mark and Joe were extremely kind and helpful hosts for their beautiful riverside cottage with all the comforts of home offered. Our 3 generation family really enjoyed our stay which was comfortable, peaceful, surrounded by nature, the river just on the doorstep and kitted out generously and thoughtfully with all the amenities (and more) that you would ever need. We would love to return when next in Virginia!

We had a great stay! We arrived late and were so excited and surprised to see the pool that was right across the parking lot. The next day we realized it was closed for repairs but Kathryn was very quick to respond and was able to grant us access to the resort pool. Birthday weekend for the kiddo was saved! We would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to the market and pool, even the restaurants at the resort.

The perfect place to spend the night after a long day of driving! We traveled with four adults, a toddler and an infant. We had plenty of room and everything we needed for the kids was provided! We enjoyed the peaceful back porch and after the kids went to sleep we had a relaxing night by the fire. We’d love to stay again!

The house was quaint and comfortable. We were allowed to have a graduation celebration which we much appreciated. The house is older but well maintained and comfortable.

This is our second year in a row that we stayed here for our annual family retreat (me, my wife and adult children with their partners). We loved it the first time and it was every bit as good the second. The house is in a beautiful peaceful setting tucked away in the woods with a mountain view. We spent most of our time during the day out on the decks, which were very comfortable with plenty of seating, outdoor couches and tables. We also took advantage of the fire pit. The house is actually much larger in size than how it looks . There is a good-sized living room with huge couch and large TV. Everyone had private rooms, which were very clean and comfortable with excellent furnishings. The kitchen was fully supplied for our cooking needs. Whenever we had a question Breanna was very quick to respond. If you're looking for a true getaway, I highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely loved this place. The house is beautiful, well kept and comfortable. The kitchen was the best! Easy cooking dinner for 4 every night. Loved sitting on the porch , front and back, watching and listening to the birds and the sounds of Hays Creek rolling by. Very much enjoyed long walks along the gravel roads in this area and the views of the grass covered hills and farm land.

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and had a great time. The house was even bigger and cozier than I anticipated and the views were gorgeous. We loved being on the same property as Cardinal Point Winery and walked down to do a tasting/enjoy some bottles. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools we could have needed and the pool area was great!

Wintergreen is a gorgeous area with so much to do all around. Hikes, wineries, and of course just sitting on the deck and taking in the beautiful mountain view. Condo is spacious and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked and everything very clean. Plenty of firewood for some evening fires in the fireplace. Loved every minute of our time there!

I absolutely enjoyed my stay and was regretful it was for only one night. The views with the full moon was breath taking , 360 views and fireflies at night with a bench swing outside! Inside had everything you needed for a goodnight sleep. The bath tub we didn’t use because it could have been a bit more cleaned from a prior stay but otherwise we loved it. It has a nice rustic charm, nothing overly fancy. The absolute star of the show is the property and how well maintained the grounds were! Check in and out was very clear!

Absolutely gorgeous farm property. Perfect for a tech free getaway. This was our favorite bnb of our entire roadtrip. Fantastic views of the stars. Loved waking up to ducks quacking outside our window and roosters letting you know they are there. The log cabin is very small and quaint but cozy. Ray and rosemary were extremely friendly. Would recommend this spot to everyone. Very little service in the area but we didnt even notice looking at everything going on at the beautiful property. Will be returning just for this canin!

We had a wonderful stay at Claire & Corbin's place! The views were beautiful, and the house was old, but updated and well-kept, and it's so amazing that they have restored such an old farmhouse. It was spacious for our group of 7, plus 2 dogs. The kids loved the bunkbeds and the outdoor space, and loved catching fireflies at nite (not something we get to do a lot where we are from!). The downstairs bedroom was perfect for my in-laws since they didn't have to go up the stairs. While we explored the area a bit, we also just loved hanging both in and outside the house. Plenty of cookware and utensils - the house was stocked with most everything we needed. There are a ton of breweries, wineries and cideries just up and down the main road too. About 30 minutes from Monticello, and 20-25 minutes from Mint Valley Spring, where we took the kids fishing and also found a little beach there that was uncrowded and perfect. We would definitely rent again if we come back to the area - thank you!

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was spotless and had all the essentials needed for a comfortable visit. The view was beautiful, and the calming atmosphere made it easy to relax. I especially loved the dirt road nearby — perfect for peaceful walks with my dog — and the fenced-in yards were a huge bonus for pet owners. Thanks also for showing me the extra walking spots around the barns and how to get to them from the property — it made our walks even better. And the pound cake was delicious! Such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful home! My husband and I enjoyed a quiet family weekend here with our baby and friends. Comfortable beds, great kitchen and very clean hot tub. You could see the stars at night!

I can't say enough great things about Linda's place. It was exactly what I was looking for! It was quiet yet close to wineries, hiking, breweries and barely 30 minutes into Charlottesville! The inside was immaculate! Washer/dryer was key since my son had been traveling so much he needed some clean clothes! The kitchen had everything you needed to cook; condiments, etc and plenty of cutlery, pots/pans. Linda and Tom left us a nice bag of local coffee (make sure to visit their roasting site down the road) and some snacks. The linens were high quality and the beds were comfortable. They had a beautiful pool area along with a grill and plenty of outdoor space. I am already planning to visit again hopefully late summer/early fall. Linda gave us great suggestions on food and drink also. Be sure to check out the local farmers market if you are there on a weekend.
