Castle vacation rentals in Aude

My husband and I loved our stay at "Pa-Chai" Villarlong Castle and can't imagine giving it anything less than five stars. If you are thinking of booking, do it, you won't be disappointed. In from Paris, our purpose was to relax and unwind for a long December weekend -- with a fireplace. The setting was perfect. The two story stone apartment with the roaring fire was so cozy. We would also note that the king bed was extremely comfortable and the hot shower had excellent water pressure. The kitchen was fully stocked with beautiful dinnerware and had a supply of local wine that we were able to purchase and drink when our personal supply dwindled. Even in December, the grounds were breathtaking and the location was convenient for visiting Carcassonne and Minerve, the two highlights of our visit. We also recommend Moroccan dinner at L'Arganier in Trebes (but order the pastilla 48 hours in advance). We and our small dog were welcomed warmly by Marlin and are grateful for her hospitality!

Ein absolut traumhafter, phantastischer Ort voller Magie. Unser Appartement im Turm war unglaublich, wunderschön eingerichtet mit allen Annehmlichkeiten der Gegenwart und doch konnte man sich in den Räumen die Vergangenheit dieses wunderbaren Schlosses vorstellen. Der Empfang von Marlin Charlott war herzlich, freundlich, wir fühlten uns von der ersten Sekunde an zu Hause. Der Service war hervorragend, egal mit welchem Anliegen wir uns an Marlin Charlott wandten. Ein Highlight war auch das von Marlin Charlott organisierte EM-Final-Viewing für alle Gäste in der alten Schlossscheune samt Apéritif. Und schliesslich nicht zu vergessen die einzigartige Atmosphäre im Schlossrestaurant mit superleckerem Essen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Très bel appartement rénové dans un château. Endroit au calme unique. Belle piscine et bonne table d'hôtes avec un service irréprochable. Bémol : la literie. Petite remarque : convient mieux à une semaine de vacances qu'à un arrêt sur la route des vacances (pas de savon, pas de café ni sucre, pas d'éponge ni liquide vaisselle etc.)

Daniel vous accueille en toute simplicité, chaleureusement et avec générosité. Il sait être disponible pour vous guider lors de votre séjour à Carcassonne. Le descriptif est conforme à ce qui est proposé. Idéalement placé pour les fans de la Cité.

Très agréable séjour au château de Villelongue d aude. Merci François pour ton accueil et ton hospitalité. La chambre « le Nid » a été parfaite, bonne literie, douche agréable, sauna à disposition. Nous étions 4 et la chambre été suffisamment grande pour nous accueillir dans de bonnes conditions. Nous avons rencontré Sylvie une habituée des lieux avec laquelle nous avons partagé un repas, une bonne soirée et nos numéros de téléphone. François a pris le temps de nous concocter un excellent repas avec des produits locaux et a mangé avec nous. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et les œufs brouillés de François, un délice… Nous reviendrons très certainement car nous n’avons pas eu le plaisir de rencontrer sa compagne.

Le chateau est magifique et les appartements tres bien decorés et agencés. Ce long week end nous a enormement plus car nous etions dans un cadre de reve avec une independance mais en meme temps une convivialité dans les parties commune, jardin,piscine,restaurant. Nos filles ont adoré ce sejour dans un chateau. Tres bon boulot a la proprietaire des lieux qui nous a agreablement accueilli et guidée pour nos sorties.

To give Chatéu de Villarlong 5 stars is an understatement. Besides the excellent service of Marlin, we got 3 floors to ourselves, they had arranged live-music the wine was awesome! also the location is so incredibly beautiful! would totally go again!

Ma fille et moi avons passé quelques jours à Rennes-le-Château à la maison d'Elise fin octobre 2021. Nous vous recommandons ce logement pour l'accueil de notre hôte, l'emplacement exceptionnel, la chambre très propre (vue sur le château) ainsi que la salle de bain. Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de prendre le petit déjeuner chez Alex à cause du covid mais juste en face se trouve "le bistro des amis" très pratique. Rennes-le-château vaut vraiment le déplacement.

Spacious, atmospheric property in lovely, friendly village. It sits high up in the village but it is only a 5 minute walk down the hill to the village store. The shop has a really friendly owner who organised us a wonderful wine tasting with charcuterie and cheese. He sells a wide variety of products and has a really good wine cellar of local wines. He also does takeaway pizza on Fridays and Saturdays. The local hotel has a restaurant and supplied us with a takeaway cassoulet. The chateau is well equipped and spacious. Only one room has a shower but all the rest have a roll top bath with shower fitting. The village itself is well situated to explore a number of vineyards and nearby towns and the roads were very quiet.

belle expérience chez Amelie... Ce n'est pas souvent que l'on a l'occasion de dormir dans un endroit chargé d'histoire... La déco est soignée et le château parfait pour un groupe de 8 personnes ! Merci Amelie et Jacqueline pour votre accueil chaleureux et vos petites attentions qui ont été bien appréciées ! Je recommande sans hésitation !

We felt right at home and warmly welcome at Marianne’s place. We, and the kids had the best time in the beautiful garden - breakfast and Dinners with this spectacular view will stay in our memories forever. Marianne took great care for little details - a bottle of Wine was a great welcome gift after a long travel day. She was always responsive for any questions we had. We can totally recommend this place, the beautiful indoor and outdoor space are exactly like on the pictures- even better! We would love to come back one day!😊 Thank you Marianne for making our holiday so special!

Logement incroyable: spacieux, bien décoré, bien aménagé , bien équipé. Localisation super: proche des axes principaux mais complètement isolé et calme quand même. Hôte géniale: réactive, flexible, serviable, aimable. Encore merci pour ce séjour qui nous a tous et toutes séduits.
